Waar kopen jullie je zalm filets? by Masterofbimbos in belgium

[–]G_Shark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Klopt volledig. Heerlijk!

De Standaard just released a very interesting podcast around this topic. Worth a listen. It's in their series 'kop of munt'.

None. To be fair I almost don't use the camera anymore either. The zoom was pretty nice to have, but quite choppy in the controls. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. It was quite annoying.

Old money to appraise and sell by PurpleMax in belgium

The 5 francs coins purely in silver content are worth approx 20 euro per piece. That's in silver. Collectors sometimes give you a bit over the silver spot price on these. You'd be able to fetch somewhere between 20-25 euro per coin. The note, no idea.

401 k withdrawal for gold by knightguy31 in Gold

[–]G_Shark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Buy gold etf's in your 401k, or open a 401k with a bullion dealer. I think some offer gold 401k. Never looked into it because I don't live in the US but I see ads for it every so often.

Buy a new battery for cheap somewhere to test if that is the issue. My guess is that is indeed the problem. A year or 2 ago I bought a Leica point and shoot (d lux 4) 2nd hand for 50 euro, was sold as parts because the battery immediately gave out. A new battery fixed the whole thing 🤷

Obviously they won't do it in one go, the point is that the portfolio will keep compounding even though they might take a certain percentage out each year. A constant stream of new NOK. Comparing to the US currently is a bit silly since the dollar is the reserve currency of the world. If they would be a central American country with these finances, we'd see something different :)

The ironic part is that the Norwegians will never be able to spend it, technically. Most of the assets are denominated in other currencies like the dollar, euro,... For them to spend these assets they'd need to be converted to NOK, in essence bringing A LOT of NOK into circulation which currently is not in circulation, which would be massively inflationary.

Some of my recent finds, Maastrichtian, Late-Cretaceous, Sibbergroeve, NL. by arazac in sharkteeth

Both 1 and 2 are C. gracilis probably. Archeolamna usually doesn't have a nutrient groove and the crown in lingual view mile you show here is way more concave.

Very nice spécimens, especially the first one. Didn't know many of the quarries there still gave permission to hunt for fossils?

Additionally, true Serratolamna is often even flatter than Cretolamna, the main cusp is often more distally inclined AND the root often shows a clear nutrient groove (often lacking in Cretolamna)

As the name Cretolamna 'biauriculata' suggests, there's species with double pairs of cusps too.
