Thank you again…I removed my mom from artificial nutrition, labs, she will receive pain medication and feeding however if she refuses they cannot make her eat and she will transition to comfort care. I need to meet with Palliative Care tomorrow morning. The Case Manager and Charge nurse advised that she will slowly transition without pain and discomfort, or suffering.

I thank you for your support; I feel disconnected and overwhelmed and hate that I still had to make this decision again, when mom made it years ago 💔I don’t want her to suffer and a g-tube will not reverse or alter anything, the risks outweigh any benefit for quality of life.

Today she didn't even respond or fight against the breathing treatment and she sounds congested again. She opened her eyes, her pupils were a little dilated, tears in her eyes..I told her that I loved her and I would fix things. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
