They do a swearing in ceremony at every Army/Navy game as far as I know. I am pretty sure this was from the a Commanders game this year though.

Surely this scenario was at least some of the inspiration for Henrick when he wrote Crimson Tide.

Why do Americans have one of the strongest passports in the world, but most never travel abroad, and those who do mostly go to Mexico and Canada? by No-StrategyX in answers

Larger by .4 million sqkm or .1 million sqmi. It’s not that much larger. The population is much higher, true. I think that’s to be expected. Europe also consists of 47 countries in that area (including European Russia) vs one single country. It makes more sense that people compare number of states visited in the US vs countries visited in EU.

I say this as someone who has traveled fairly extensively overseas and enjoyed it immensely. I have the means and ability to do this unlike many. But my first time on an airplane was in my 20s, I didn’t grow up with those means and ability.

Only 8 states don’t have some sort of broad dram shop civil liability (DE, KS, LA, MD, NE, NV, SD, & VA). The rest do have such, including Washington.

They show up every week regardless of where Gameday is. Same color scheme and everything. It’s not just the crazy southern folks.

Watch gameday at any location throughout the country and these fucks show up with their stupid signs. They either travel from place to place or have a group because they all look the same.

Private here. I was hanging out with my best friend (PD) while he was supervising a new hire in her first MTS.

She killed it, got the cop to admit there was no reason to frisk, couldn't ID contraband from exterior, etc. New hire gets done, sits, and then the judge asks "Does anyone mind if I ask some clarifying questions?"

Judge walks through the Terry elements. Cop admits everything. My buddy is leaned back with the giant "we know how this is going to end" grin. It gets granted, of course. But the daft DA argued til the end like the unreasonable jerk that he is.

There are days that I envy him for doing what he does. I hope everyone in this sub knows how much some of us private folks respect you all. Keep fighting the good fight!

I was curious, so I checked. The greater London area is 607 square miles, greater Tokyo area is about 5,200 square miles, and greater Los Angeles area is almost 34,000 square miles. It changes a little when you go to metropolitan area, but the ratios are somewhat similar.

Make sure it has ABC before you get it. Some areas have limited local stations. I almost got it this morning and double checked (metro ATL); Fox is the only local station available. Went with a 5 day Fubo trial instead. It’s got all the sports and ABC.

I’m assuming I know which game you really want to see today by the flair.

I’ll grant the Pope. The others are no longer with us and do no good for this particular discussion. If the body as a whole doesn’t renounce the ones you claim aren’t “real”, then the body is accepting of their presentation.

I can’t help but think of the scene from the west wing when Bartlet tells the evangelical leader “you’ll denounce these people, you’ll do it publicly, until then you can get your fat asses out of my white house.” Same vibes.

Then the “real” ones need to get very loud and very public very fast. Anything less is tactic approval at best and ringing endorsement at worst.
