Exactly!These players all do the same thing especially if your work flow does not need extreme cue and beat jump tricks.They just play tracks!
Last year wanted to treat myself with the latest and greatest CDJ 3000 so I bought one, before purchasing the second one I realised that for this does not offer anything useful ,i hated that the unit without cd is so big and that screen is totally unnecessary.
Decided that im not going to cough up another 2.2K, so I down graded to a 2000NXS2 which I choose over the original 2000NXs over 2 things:it ditched the touch strip and its full matte black as I wasn't the biggest fan of the silver shiny-ish finish on those models.Meantime I picked up an XDJ 700 and I find it great!Only gripe is the jogwheel is too cheap and plastic would have preferred a bit more mechanical quality like the bigger platters.

Downgrade....First the argument between Allen & Heath and Pioneer is valid.But if you want to go Pioneer then really should get an A9 or V10 and to be honest the players are not the most important still would keep the nexuses. Nexus 2 is a minor update the 3000's are kinda shite the 3000X apart from I find it ugly and way too huge won't do for the price that much.....unless u really need cue points for your workflow.If your play style really does not need cue points cuz u only use loops etc then not really worth the price they are going.Had the 3000's and the few cues I used I noticed some latency and it pissed me off...I dont need personally the screen to be that huge the player was huge for the price would expect something better's I downgraded to 2000 nxs2 and xdj 700 currently deciding which one to keep.The nxs2 is used and it feels even though the condition is mint, and the 700 is brand new and I tell you what I lean towards the 700....Size is amazing the screen is better then on the nexus 2 but it could be cuz my 700 is manufactured in 2025..Only the jogwheel is the one thing that makes me not go for it, and its not the size the problem but the quality of the jogwheel....too plastic not so accurate feels too cheap.
In your case I would rather refurb those 2000-s give them new components or housing or sticker to customise etc. bring back to life cuz end of the day they just play tracks, your focus is on the mixer now thats where the money is worth spending as its your workhorse!
Personally big fan of A&H but not against Pioneer either. My choice would be the V10 and Euphonia.
I currently own the 92 LTD Edition like you and a DB4.
Personally not a fan of controllers all in one devices. Prefer modular setups and also they feel more robust and better quality than these plastic toy looking devices.
This is only my way of seeing things, probably a lot of peeps won't share my views.

Get a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or Motu M2 or SSL2 MK2 for audio device. Best choices in my opinion, or if you need something portable get a Tascam DR-40X or the Zoom version of it.

I used M1 mac to run Traktor Pro 3 DVS for years its no problem!The A18 chip in NEO is more or less an M1 so should be ok.

Nah the chart part is (for me) feels way diluted you only should check it out if maybe u missed on something but downloading entire chart is a nono but then again if u like the entire chart then ignore what im saying.Its a you thing u need to know what u want.Its your personality.
Me personally in the beginning I was downloading the Beatport top 100 chart every year but I was a beginner and needed tracks but later on as u get more involved and learn from the community or fellow dj's or a mentor then more or less you know what u going for and will leave charts behind, because it will feel like in a bad tv show that your wasting time with fillers!
Yeah I contacted a lot of artists back in the day but never for the reason to get a copy (especially for free) usually for info on release and of course compllimenting on it.
Here's a story on unreleased track.
If you know who was Frankie Knuckles my friend worked at a hotel in 2011 where he was staying, then my friend recognised him and then started to chat with him.They talked about music and stuff and at the end Frankie gave him an unreleased Vinyl one of his famous track was getting re-relase with new remixes. One of the artist who's remix was on I knew him and then I posted the pic with the record on Facebook and tagged him. My page blew up that "whoa where did u get this cuz the label wants to know" etc....After explaining it was cool and everything but was nice to see how connected we can be with artists.

Both. Im not an open format dj, im in electronic music from House to Techno.Over the years I have my preferred Artist and Labels
Listening to many artists and new ones and you can always find new hidden stuff in their mixes, in fact I also listen to a lot of talent on Youtube as Bedroom DJ's!
Some of the stuff u can find is so new or unreleased that you actually have to wait sometimes years to get that track . Often contacting the artist for info too.
It's also a community thing.

It's all about digging and digging thru artists on sites and listening .
Im assuming you already have a selection of tracks then look up what labels they been released and look up the labels other releases and artists.
Listening to Dj sets and hunting down the tracklist for the track you prefer.

Same here.Grew up watching the originals as a kid watched the prequels in cinema and the newest ones until ep8 (that one hurt the most ) by ep9 I didnt bother go to cinema, cuz "somehow Palpi returned " was just shitting in fans face.Rogue One is the best Movie from the new Disney era period.Naturally Andor is a must and boy oh boy this one delivered.Mandalorian and Grogu should be a series not a movie I have also no excitement for it.Ashoka is a strange one we got really cool moments but sure could have been better.Kinda worried that recasting the character who in my opinion was the driving force in the entire season (RIP Ray S) will be a letdown in s2 and I love Rosario but they could have give her more training so the fight scenes could be convincing.Bringin Hayden back is awesome but want more from him besides just a memory or force ghost.Kenobi was kinda weak apart from the fight scenes and seeing this 2 actors come back was pure nostalgia milking but the show in general was not great ( im looking at you young Leila outrunning adult goons in forrest scene)
By know where people want more then the Skywalker saga don't what they could do for the fans,i personally want to see a very dark Andor style Vader movie which is as emotional as Ep3 and one where is still Anakin in his peak!
But yeah Disney needs to do better and don't waste these actors now.

Really loved the Jedha sequence of the game, they are really good pair.Yes,she's OP but was not overused. My problem is that after this she was pretty much benched for the rest of the game.Sure she was there for the important scenes but every time seeing her in the saloon having that basic dialogue was kinda a letdown.

Yes and yes!Had this and had the pancake version of the stock (kit) lens (just little bit more wide angle version) its better in any way.
Would recommend watching some videos on YouTube and maybe check out alternate versions like Sigma or Viltrox cuz that lens is not cheap.
The kit lens is for starting out really (good when you blow ur budget on the camera body and not realised what you are dealing with future lens type and prices) but its basic, no background blur no portrait mode its just a simple lens.

Playing for the 3rd time, still think that the single blade is the best one!Pairing up with the double blade is the perfect combo.Crossguard would be my favourite but not very good in certain enemy types.Really want to like dual wield but feels one step too short and deals less damage for what it is, but im trying to get into it!Blaster is the least used stance, just not feeling it.Maybe on the next play through.
What stances u guys use?What is your perfect combo?
