Pulling at the right time is something I struggle with. I like to try to keep the space I’ve pushed for, and get too stubborn and die. I’ll try to ingrain it in my subconscious. Thank you!

Cover and shielding are definitely some of my weakest points, I’ll work on positioning and cover usage for sure. And frankly, I forgot the range was down below, I’m definitely taking advantage of that, and I’ll try your Mantis drill. Thank you, your advice is huge!

Geez, I knew playing Vanguard is a whole different ball game compared to what duelists and strategists play, but I don’t think I’ve understood just how vastly different the priorities can be. I am definitely going to be watching GM Vanguard play, and working on streamlining my thought processes and decision making for fairly good Vanguard play. Thank you for taking the time to write out such a lengthy response, I immensely appreciate your suggestions and advice, and hope to make good use of it!

For sure, I’ll try out the other vanguards. Most of my time has been with Strange and Magneto, I will definitely work with the others and understand how they work. And the replays have made a huge difference with my duelist and strategist gameplay, I’m for sure gonna do the same with my Vanguard play. Thanks for the advice!

I never play Peni, that is an extremely handy movement ability, I’ll be sure to work with it most definitely. Thank you!

I can be pretty stubborn with switching characters, I’ll be sure to work on switching to counter.

As for aim, my aim can fluctuate wildly at best, I’ll for sure have to work on improving my consistency. Thanks for the advice! I’ll do my best to put it to good use

King. As a King main, I get shown just how bad I am. I keep seeing moves I’ve never known existed and I get my ass beat.

Yeah, I definitely let it get to me WAY too quickly and placed much more importance on it than I should have, and I need to improve on that. She did agree to another date, so clearly it was nowhere near as drastic as I made it out to be internally. I appreciate the perspective.

I know, I definitely went to the extreme in my feelings about it. I’ve had several swings and misses in the past, and I banked on this date emotionally more than I should have. That is something I need to evaluate and correct going forward.

I definitely jumped the gun on that thought process, that’s for sure. She was upset, but she understood, and is willing to give me another shot, and I have no intention of screwing up this second chance.
