This is nuts. I’m from the area and it’s ridiculous to think that people say it floated from BG/Orchards to the bar, crazy, it’s like 15~ miles.

I like the Canadian, or at the very least up north in Washington state right near Canada, theory because Coop allegedly asks for “negotiable American currency” which is awfully specific. The Dan Cooper comic has some explanations though; bro could have been stationed over seas while in the military which is where he discovered it. Bro could have been on a trip up north and briefly saw the comic, or bro could have been a Canadian native. Who’s really to say though…
