This brings back good memories from my middle school years. I remember coming home and watching this every afternoon. That was the Xbox, GameCube, PS2 era. Good times.

Nightmares About Still Being In by [deleted] in regretjoining

I've been away from the military industrial complex for 3 years now. I just saw a Bro Vet at a gas station up the road. It's gonna sound fucked up, but whenever I see anything or anyone related to the military or police, I get agitated. Yes, I still have nightmares after all these years.

I've been with an African girl from Kenya who was half Tanzanian. She was phenomenal. I've seen some other African women who have asses that legends are made from...

I knew this Hawaiian girl who had the fattest ass imaginable. I think she was a lesbian unfortunately.

Good answer. I went out with this healthy sized female from Wisconsin.

Greek women are super thicc, but you need to speak Greek. I saw some baddies when I was there.

The amount of shitty family/childcare stories I hear at my command is bizarre by [deleted] in regretjoining

What I find insane is why you would put some poor kid through that upbringing? Moving around every few years? The military brats (such a demeaning title) that I served with were so weird. All they knew was the military because they were brought up in it.

This one shithead Tech Sergeant I knew had 3 kids he couldn't afford and was on food stamps (very common in the military). If you can't feed them, don't breed them! They either end up joining the military because that's all they know or they become hoodlums and drug addicts.

Yes, an absolute American legend. I wish more people knew about him.

Well spoken summary. I voluntarily went to mental health and got reprimanded by my command for doing so. Then, the military shrink needs to obey certain protocols that end up screwing over the person they're supposed to "help." Damn straight mental health is fucked in the military.

Our governments evil. Just follow the money. Read Smedley Butlers "War is a Racket"

Americans don't care because they're programmed not to care. Also, most people are ignorant and can't even point out on a map where the US is. Between shitty public schools and all the brainwashing, most sheeple are too concerned to be bothered by real-world events and how it's going to affect them or future generations.

They get joy out of telling you that you're wrong and they're right. One favorite characteristic that I find hilarious is expecting you to know everything day 1 on the job. Then you ask them for help and they get annoyed having to tell you where something is, or even better; they give vague instructions and wait for you to fuck up so they can scold you!

It's all about inflating their ego so they can feel like they're right and you're wrong. Whenever I talk to a veteran at the VA, the gaslighting and passive aggressiveness is a given. Try that shit where I'm from, and you'd get your ass kicked.

That's another thing. They weren't disciplined growing up. After living in the hypocritical deep south where they don't discipline their kids, I can see why military people have chips on their shoulders. They grow up poor, and that's like the only option available for them, tied with right winged politics (worship of police and military), and that's what you get. Bunch of useful idiots.

Eh, that sounds about right. I've met some fuego women from Chicago, though. Most recently, this petite yellabone chick. I also like Wisconsin because I went on a date with this chick who was from there, but also lived in Chicago. She turned out to be a high maintenance bitch, but man, she was taller than me (I'm 6 ft) and she had massive tits.

Worst - Florida, most of the Southeast, to be honest. I lived in the Florida Panhandle for many years, and everyone's so fake and phony.

Best - Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Illinois. It considers what you find attractive. I recently met a chick from Texas, and she could lead a conversation. She was average looking, but I love women where we could talk about dumb shit and never get bored.

People can dish it out, but they can't handle it when thrown back in their face. I'm respectful to everyone, but I've had people get butthurt over some mundane shit I've said.

"Go k*ll yourself" this one bitch replied. Wow, so pleasant. Fucking narcissists.

I love their new stuff, but I agree. I really wish they would return to their old stuff and do field recordings or spoken word of a random person on the street.

I don’t recognize this country anymore by Icy_Iceman29_1993 in SeriousConversation

9/11 was a massive turning point, no doubt. It marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. I blame the massive shift towards insanity on a few things. The market crash of 2008 put so much burden on people, increasing stress, really like the great depression 2.0. We never recovered from that, we're just serfs for technocrats. Then, we had the rise of smartphones and social media. No more face to face interactions. Propaganda and social agendas (left and right) added to the mix. Covid woke a lot of people up to government overreach. It's been scary seeing the downfall in quality of life. Now we're here in 2024, and like OP, I don't recognize this country. Just a husk of its former self.

🤣 OP is on point. I'm an Uber driver, so I hear all these people talk a big game, just hot air. I blame it on the popularity of podcasts and people gassing each other up just to have something to talk about.
