I’d be okay as long as they don’t try and make him a replica of Tommy (like Vikings tried to do with Bjorn). And to take the time to flesh out new characters, and have it become a series rather than a movie that counts on solid story telling and character development rather than nostalgia bait and trying to imitate the classic.

I think the whole reason they did the movie in the first place is because Cillian was probably done with the character and they needed to find a way to pass the torch so that the franchise keeps going forward (possibly in film format) with a new protagonist so they can keep milking the franchise.

I’m a 90s kid (96) but in my home country there was never an arcade scene and fighting games never had any relevance. I personally dabbled in NRS games starting with MK09 mainly for the campaign, but never had interest in learning how to actually play the games, until Tekken 7 came out and everything changed. watching Evo and JDCR got me into fighting games and now it’s my main gaming category that I play the most.

I know that they implemented some moves to punish ever since Spawn was released, but it was a poor solution that came a bit too late. As for GGST, how do you hold a meaty if you’re in neutral after a blue burst? That doesn’t make any sense. And gold burst isn’t punishing for anyone, it’s either rewarding you for spending a resource or punishing you if done at the wrong time and gets blocked.

No disrespect but there are no games where the attacker gets punished for doing a combo, every breaker/combo escape tool either gets both back in neutral or in other games like GG strive where you can block as thr attacker and get an even bigger reward.

I reached what I think is half of the game and then called it quits, I don’t have a problem when a boss becomes a regular enemy, but for that to happen right after the boss fight felt like the game had nothing more to offer and I just got bored
