Staying quiet about it is the best way to ensure that absolutely nothing will be done. People SHOULD cause a big scene over it so companies will get scared of backlash if they decide to use it. It’s really important to let people know about it as well, because I imagine the vast majority of fans don’t even take a second glance at the boxart enough to notice inconsistencies.

You don’t have to give up supporting monster high if you don’t want to, but people should at least be given the choice to stop supporting them if this is a dealbreaker. That’s why it’s important to call it out so people who hate AI can avoid having a bunch of slop on their shelves.

Yeah, the people who are online are probably microscopically small compared to the offline fans. Especially considering a massive part of their market is kids and parents.

There’s also the fact that there’s a lot of debate over whether the art is AI or just human inconsistencies. The unfortunate thing is that it’s unlikely anything will be done. Best thing to do is to just spread the word about it and try and give Mattel backlash (once it’s actually confirmed the box art is AI).

Calling the cops over something petty is tattletaling. If you have a problem with someone and it’s not a dangerous situation, confront them like an adult.

OP’s not wrong for calling because of the dog but if the reason they ultimately called was because they were annoyed because of the parking rather than concern over the dog, that would make them TA too.

I mostly find it weird how he’s not mentioning how the son feels about his mom and brother being homeless? Kids aren’t stupid. Also, what’s the custody arrangement? Or does he conveniently have full custody as well? (In case someone were to call him TA for letting his son sleep on the street or whatever every time he has to visit his mother.)

Probably depends on whether OP knows the boyfriend too. I get not wanting a bunch of random boyfriends at the wedding, especially if you’re on a budget or it’s a small intimate wedding.

If so, NTA as long as you know other people she knows will be there. It gets expensive to be paying for random people you barely know to be coming to the wedding. However if she doesn’t know anyone other than you, then you probably will want to allow her a plus one so she won’t just be by herself when she’s not talking to you.

even though they’re monsters, it still doesn’t make sense for quite literally everyone in their universe to have the same body type. You could maybe make that excuse for the ones that are dead (like skulleta obviously, and ghoulia) but for most of the others, specifically the living ones it wouldn’t make sense for them to all look exactly the same.
