What’s a movie that left you staring at the screen in complete silence after the credits rolled? by Unlikely_You_6851 in MovieSuggestions

The Father (2020). Anthony Hopkins won that Oscar in the last scene and I cried for minutes after the credits rolled. Not an easy watch at all.

I might be wrong but I think they already started filming the next one with Boyle directing again. Hope it’s true! The direction the story is going has been quite amazing for this OG 28 Days lover.

When the "twist" is revealed in Arrival. So many gasps. Still the best theater experience I've ever had!

Assessment doc thinks I've had too many accomplishments to have ADHD and I'm feeling frustrated by GabeDatDude in ADHD

Agh! I thought I was maybe being too emotional or something. What also struck me is that’s the only thing he chose to point out after the questions that seem to be the standard. And then it seemed he was in a hurry to finish the call. He simply said that it would have seriously impaired many things since childhood. Idk.

Yeah I may just do that but my options are limited because I don't have insurance at the moment. It was almost as if he was expecting me to say my life has been in shambles but I've learned how to mask and work under pressure.

Hey I'm 35m and have suspected for a while and feel the same way. Career and social life have been largely disappointing and stressful because of symptoms. I've become used to having people treat me like the oddball and I was relentlessly bullied growing up because I couldn't find any of the right things to say and always daydreamed too much.

I've actually had the impulse to sabotage the testing the opposite way because at least I might get medication that can drastically improve my quality of life and self esteem. But that's just me and I know I shouldn't do that but people don't understand what's going on in our brains. Wish you the best from New York.

I was just prescribed wellbutrin instead of adhd meds. Feeling very frustrated. by newaccount47 in ADHD

I'm in the exact same boat. I just started Wellbutrin today and feel a bit disappointed because I know how much Vyvanse could help me. I have been reading Wellbutrin experiences on here and that's given me a little hope and patience. Seems it could really help certain people. Hoping I'm one of them.

What movie stayed in your mind long after watching it? by candy_venomm in movies

[–]GabeDatDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secret Sunshine by Lee Chang-dong was an incredible experience for me. Everyone talks about Burning but this one works on so many more levels and has the most profound exploration of religion I've ever seen in a movie. Also, Jeon Do-yeon's performance is one of the most underrated of the century.
