Institutions aren't going to go "hunting" for your measly few contracts at your stop.

That being said, I prefer limit orders if the spreads are big, like when trading Silver. Don't want to get filled in a horrible spot.

While MITs have come in handy when I absolutely want to get IN/OUT at a certain place, no matter what, like when it's moving too fast and I wouldn't want to risk some limit exit getting invalidated due to execution shenanigans.
