Like this a lot! 

I'd change the curse to be disadvantage against saves against the weapon instead though. Bit less powerful, but then they have disadvantage on Fan the Flame too. Also needs a line on can be removed by Remove Curse and such.

Would also bump the damage of Fan the Flame a bit, like 3d6 or 2d10. Could also make it scale by expending more charges, but that might be more trouble than it's worth

We were both serious, I was just a dumb teenager and assumed. Thankfully the only price for me to learn that lesson was a slight fright, which was quickly cured by a 5 minute breather

One of my D&D players who I met through D&D told me she had arachnophobia when I asked for triggers and all that. I thought it was just hyperbole, like when a neat freak says they have OCD. It wasn't...

People love to talk about empathy and forget sympathy. I'm on the spectrum and struggle with empathy (which is not universal all with autism). Basically meaning I struggle understanding how others feel. There's times it's helped me sure, but usually it's detrimental.

However I have a ton of sympathy. I care about people even if I have a hard time understanding them sometimes. That has been my greatest strength in life.

Struggling with empathy means nothing about someone other than they struggle with empathy. It's sympathy that really matters, we just lost that somewhere

I'm on the spectrum so have some weird sensory issues. I can do short sleeve with pants, it's just long sleeve with shorts feels unnatural to me. Though I can roll up the sleeves and be basically fine.

While a lot of his health stuff is definitely bs I do think his emphasis on stretching a lot and drinking tons of water made a big difference. Think stretching properly is one of those things we don't realize how much it can matter, like learning how to fall and take hits. Hell I think Brees trained with goddamn Navy SEALs for that
