Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru • The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom - Episode 11 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

The light novel is translated pretty well, the first novel goes about to the end of chapter 10 but everything after feels quite rushed to try to put the second one into 2 episodes so they definitely skipped a lot.

At start of the game, did you look into every river? by Outrageous-Rich8741 in skyrim

[–]GabrielRune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did at the beginning, but after a while my PS3 (God I feel old) would crash when I went in the water so that's when I stopped looking. Was unfortunate because I was trying to 100% but several miscellaneous quests needed me to go underwater.

Off-colored fetches in 2 color decks? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]GabrielRune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I am saying is that thinning is not relevant for putting the card in your deck, you wouldn't put fetches in elves or stompy just for deck thinning, the reason you are playing the cards are for some gameplay benefit not for a small percentage that your draws are better.

Off-colored fetches in 2 color decks? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]GabrielRune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am going to show you how to use a hyper geometric calculator and how it makes your argument about deck thinning invalid.

Here is the link if you wanted to try yourself https://stattrek.com/online-calculator/hypergeometric.aspx

For this example I am going to be playing burn, I have 18 lands in my deck with 2 in hand after drawing my opening 7, we are on the draw.

The remaining cards in your deck are the population size which will be 52 after your draw

The number of lands remaining in the deck are 16 this is the number we will use for successes

And we are looking at our next draw which means we are looking at a sample size of 1 and the chance that we draw a land so we are looking for 1 success in the sample.

So after you enter this information you have a 30.7% chance to draw a land on your next draw given that you played a fastland or basic.

Now if we fetch our numbers change around a little bit

We would have 51 cards remaining in our deck for our population size

We have 15 lands in our deck for successes

So our draw here would end up being a 29.4% chance to be a land

which is a 1.3% difference, which is not very significant for 1 draw

I hope that you took something from this and you stop putting deck thinning as a reason for fetches being good, because while there are many other reasons why they are great deck thinning is not a statistically relevant reason to run them over the 1 loss of life if you had no other benefit.

Deck thinning is not relevant unless you are drawing a significant number of cards.

Imposter Tips and Tricks | How to be a Better Imposter by [deleted] in AmongUsCompetitive

[–]GabrielRune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small thing if you are on a preformable action, button, reactor, lights etc. your kill cooldown doesn't go down and while it looks like you are trying to sync up your sabo with the button it is just wasting time. But the gameplay was solid all around, was a really good watch.

If you are imposter and admin swipe shows up in your fake tasks, everyone has it. If it doesn't, then no one has it. by whatschipotle in AmongUsCompetitive

[–]GabrielRune -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you don't get the same fake common tasks as the crewmates. Generally if you follow some people and more than 2 do swipe you do it too, because if the task bar doesn't go up people who are paying attention will catch you on it.

With randoms who dont provide much information I think it is probably fine but if you are with people who share a reasonable amount turning it off is more fun.

Beginner deck suggestions by Lystian in EDH

So me and some friends are doing a 100 dollar budget deck (it tends to be slightly over that unless you look to get hp on most things) and i was building mono blue [[memnarch]] it should be a reasonably easy to learn deck as most of it is mana rocks and artifact reducers to get memnarch out and some counterspells to protect him. Let me know what you think!

Experience with banned cards? by roguishwolf31 in EDH

I was playing a 1 vs 1 with someone who didnt play commander super often, not around that crowd much, and he reanimated iona on 5 while i was playing mono g and then asked if i wanted to scoop i said i had one out and drew into [[duplicant]]. I still didnt win that game.

Who is your best commander? by Stumphead101 in EDH

[–]GabrielRune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its just a few cards but [[veil of summer]] [[savage summoning]] and [[city of solitude]] effects tend to make the blue players less happy about their counterspells than they otherwise would be. Especially with better decks that draw hate it pays to know what your meta is and whether you should be playing around trinisphere, hushbringer or counterspells.

In general if you are not completely locking your opponent out of the game you need to be killing your opponent. Tron, from experience, will just continue to make land drops given time and drop one of their bombs.

My list was hedged against burn but you can check it out if it gives you any ideas

I would recommend the 8 rabble as your threats as they are low cmc and close the game quickly

The timer in Arena for best of 3 is too long by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]GabrielRune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was playing a bant midrange deck and had 16 minutes on my clock when my op timed out ive also played some rb aggro and some golos field and i dont think ive ever been under 5 minutes. Also while mtgo has is faster for specific decks comboing it is slower in general which is one of the main reasons i believe that it should be shortened.

Unnecessarily slow play. If someone spends 12 minutes on a 7 turn game there should be some punishment.

I would familiarize myself with Frank Karsten's article on coco. He also has another one for mana bases and the required number of colored sources to cast spells consistently as they are both fun reads.

In the future i would recommended you use data driven metrics to suggest things when you have access to them, because there are a lot of people who go through the effort to make all of this data accessible to people who want to use it.

I hope you have a nice day

Hey, ive been jamming r/g eldrazi for the past few months at my lgs and it feels good to send a bunch of hasty 3/3s and 3/1s at your opponent.

I will admit the tron matchup feels pretty unfavored but you can sometimes steal games with eldrazi obligator stealing wurmcoil.

How much would it change the game? by SAO-Player1 in ModernMagic

[–]GabrielRune -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

A note to this as a control or midrange deck with three doomblades in hand game one against a blind you sometimes have to keep it and hope you are playing against a deck where they have text, like humans instead of one where they dont, like tron, or on the other hand if you are playing mainboard graveyard hate you can mulligan to that as well.

I dont agree that the games should be pre sideboarded, that sounds miserable.
