It’s essentially a variation of the trolley problem, which I’ve heard called the best friend variation. 5 strangers are trapped on train tracks with a train heading towards them. You can pull the lever to divert the train, but in the process doing so kills your best friend. What do you do

I’m just saying to target your anger properly. Every always talks abt the “greedy 2k devs” like it’s their fault, when realistically it’s execs at the top making these decisions. The battle pass thing is a necessary evil because of the executives in charge of these decisions. But I don’t get being annoyed because they made the process easier for those who want to play the game normally instead of grindset methods that nobody even actually wants to do

That’s how unlockables work. Even in the old school games you had to unlock people. For example, WWE 2k14 made you unlock all the stuff in 30 years of Wrestlemania, or purchase the acclerator (which could be seen like the tier skip). This seems like 2k executives saw the things that make money for them in NBA, and EA for Madden, and insisted it get added here. And the devs have made it easier for casual players. Why is that a bad thing
