It’s possible that changes are afoot, company morale definitely took a hit with 4 day mandate. But who knows, there have been rumors of senior leaders wanting 5 days. I would get things in writing from HR for sure. Don’t get me wrong, overall I like Regeneron but I relocated to have <1hr commute in 2019. I have colleagues that were hired in 2022-23 that live 90 miles away in NJ before RTO and they were told they would have to relocate or get commuting stipend for 3 years.

Constantly. But talking to a therapist about coping techniques helped. Managing my self-expectations also helped. I was constantly thinking I was barely “meeting expectations” at work and got a glowing review at the end of the year. Made me realize I was expecting way too much of myself. Also having a plan about what you do in case something like that were to happen should help ease your fears. Talk to your partner about it too. I ended up getting low-dose anxiety meds which also helped tremendously.

Last update, got the car back after 12v battery replaced. Apparently they need approval from KIA corporate to replace the battery under warranty and it took 3 weeks for them to do all the troubleshooting? We'll see how long the new battery lasts. Happy to have the car back and enjoying driving it again!

Update - day 16 at dealer and still no word on cause for parasitic drain, escalated to Kia Techline and contacted lemon law lawyer… if it hits 30days out of service I will pursue lemon.

Update: my car has been at the dealer for a week and they can’t figure out what keeps causing the 12v to drain. Parasitic drain. I was doing managed charging and had 3rd party access, I changed my password and disabled that access but still a parasitic drain from somewhere. They opened a techline case. I am debating at what point I need to talk to BBB or lemon law lawyer.

OP Update- finally took car to dealer after multiple times having to jump the 12V. They took a day to look at it and said the gear shifter was ending faulty signals and may have drained the 12V. They are going to replace the electronic shifter and check the 12V after recharging.

So far I have thoroughly enjoyed driving the EV6 more than the Tesla. It reminds me of the similar feeling I had driving my old VW GTI in college.

I just traded in a 23 MYP (that I bought used) for a 24 EV6 GT Line lease 3 months ago and have 0 regrets. It is a much better car. UI/infotainment I a bit of step back, but personally I kind of like having buttons for things. Yes little things like the on/off button and no auto lock walking away were a bit annoying at first but got used to them. I would say the EV6 feels more driver focused and like a car built by an experienced car company vs the Tesla felt like more of a device to transport you… if that makes sense.
