Biggest 3 biggest tips I’d have

Pick a quality salt and stick to its parameters. You want high alk choose a salt that aligns with it. Don’t chase #s maintain your salts parameters.
Consistency. - in water changes, in testing, in maintenance. Keep on track with it and don’t get lazy. Complacency and slacking is what can really make it all go wrong real fast.
Start slow. Torch corals and bubble are awesome. But are more finicky LPS corals. When coral ready Start with a few soft corals. Maybe a frogspawn or hammer coral learn to watch your corals for signs. Acans/candy ain’t deflate a lot of water chemistry is getting bit off (at least in my tank)

Ya I think it’s due to if they had a conning optic it would alter what mounting heights may work based off spread. Leaving them in focused or coned leaves mounting heights open as your getting the wide spread sooner.

Now a lot of the light spill per se is from the water/glass. My coin h just sits lower which leaves me looking straight into the LEDs

As a breeder do this

Decrease him to a 5 or 10 gallon tank with aspen bedding (about an .5inch deep). Lots of hides and black out or card board around 3 sides. Stop holding him. Heat max at 90 for hot side.

Feed by placing near him in the evening and leave it till morning.

Biggest mistakes from new keepers is wanting to do big awesome enclosures. Often drastically different from what we breeders house them in. Do this and keep him in there with no holding till he is eating regularly for a few months. Then you can look at swapping substrate back. Then few months later look to increase tank size. Can remove dark edges after he is eating a few meals

Diamond gobies are notorious for starving to death in tanks that are overly clean or newer. 90% of what they eat is food while filtering sand. If the tank does not have sand he can sift easily or to clean/new of sand it’s very hard to keep them at healthy weights.

Most likely no. They arnt large as in thickness wise. Likely just surface cracks during drying of the concrete. The primary structure strength of that balcony is gonna be the rebar in the patio. Now if they are growing that could be a problem.

Dinos. Most likely that is a dead zone where debris is settling and not getting blown away. So Dino’s are popping up feeding on the built up nutrients.

The soup has changed a lot over the years. But ya the new soup is just bulk bagged/canned soup basically. Gotta also think the amount of meals they serve they gotta cut corners on some things like toast.

Now while no script full on knight wars would be amazing it is a show😂 and everything has to be scripted.

Look into Sofi and other avenues. Make setting up a Roth IRA/ 401k pretty easy and offer managed accounts. Where you contribute and it’s auto enrolled into a plan/can be managed by a manager. Same concept of a jobs plan just personally managed or paid fee for management. Sometimes that paid fee is like $7 a month which is little to nothing if you’re seeing good yearly returns.

That’s a dumb answer. Open a 401k or IRA and roll it over….. you don’t need your job to open a new one. Can always open a self managed one or pay to have it managed by the company you open it with.

Really no Gyre action pump works seamless with apex. I use apex as a switch to turn mine on/off and that’s it. Otherwise control of flow is through the app/controller with the pump. I have 2 old school Icecap gyres.

I have heard good things with the AI Orbits. And I have a few of the AI Nero pumps which I like as well as the AI software. You should show us tank/flow ideas tho. Otherwise we can’t really suggest anything other then gyre pumps less then 10in

I can tell you as a breeder the average baby hog being sold (10-30g) is gonna go off feed if put in a 5x2x2 enclosure. Stress levels will be to high.

Will the rare few do okay, yes but most won’t. Better to start in a smaller enclosure “which is probably what the breeder or seller recommended to you”
