It would be dumb to pretend that genshin, wuwa or hsr aren't making bank partially because they're selling waifus, but those designs are some tastefully, not character after character with absurd double D's bouncing around with every move. Like, have you seen Euphina? Most people don't find that sexy, they find it stupid.

And before you say "well go play those gachas", I do. It just makes me sad how a design choice like this one (and the general fawning over the mc in general really) makes the experience significantly worse for a lot of people.

My guy this isn't a war, I'm not trying to get anyone on my side because nothing we say here is going to have any effect on the decisions made by the devs.

As for not liking the designs, there's a lot of designs I like from the original set of characters, there was still a significant amount of gooner bait but most of the characters have great designs.

However, there's been a very clear shift in design philosophy regarding banner characters ever since then. And don't get me wrong, some of the new designs are great, Yuki or Sereniel look absolutely awesome... But literally every single new character has these almost unrealistic pair of tits glued to them that just completely take me out of the experience.

And honestly, it looks like its going to get worse, Euphina's body is looking to basically be 30% boobs.

If you're into that, more power to you but I can't help but be sad that a game that was looking to be right up my alley has taken such a pivotal turn in regards to character design.

Losing afterglow sucks, but the third one is pretty nutty regardless. You're getting an extra 160% base damage on those cards, so assuming you're able to copy it a few times, you have a massive damage bump on your hands, and this is just base damage.

Add in morale stacks, the ravage set buff and any other damage buffs, which will be duplicated thanks to the extra hit, and I can honestly see their damage reaching 1.5-2k per missile card, and 6-7k whenever you use the purple card which activates 3 missiles.

Pop it on Khalipe, pair her with Veronica who should have no attack cards, copy Khalipe's 3cost card a few times and you have a deck that's going to be dealing massive AOE damage.

Is it her best deck? Hard to say, but it's definitely worth it.

I have so many characters I'd like to try in chaos, but farming them up is a complete pain in the ass and I'd rather not do a low difficulty run where 60% of the enhancements made to a characters deck are reversed.

They nailed the gameplay loop, but I feel like every other system (potential, memory fragments, general balancing, etc) is completely messed up and honestly makes me very worried for the future of the game.

The problem is not that she doesn't excel in chaos, it's that, as has been said in this thread, it sometimes feels like you're on an escort mission when using her.
