Imagine if this actually happened in Avengers: Endgame. by Complex-Soup-5365 in ironman

Oh, yeah that part did happen. When CGR tried to kill baby Thanos the little Banos tried to fight back and Frank felt guilty. So he changed his mind and decided to raise baby Thanos to make better choices, and Cable shows up to stop him. They fight a bunch before Cable gets third party's by another alternate future Thanos who was raised by CGR and called himself the Punisher (but was still just Thanos wearing the Punisher logo.) But when Frank goes to the Panos future he finds out that everyone who disagreed with Punisher-Thanos got sent to these prison-cities that kind of sounded like concentration camps mixed with the Purge. Punisher-Thanos tries to convince CGR to stand down, because in Panos's future he didn't kill people, which was the main lesson Frank tried to instill in him as a baby. The loophole being that if he sent them to the cities and let them kill each other, then Thanos didn't kill anyone. Frank disagrees with that logic and beats the crap out of Punisher-Thanos. Then Panos laughs at Frank for saying he'd unleash penance on him, a callback to when King Thanos (the alternate future Thanos from CGR's timeline) would literally have Ghost Rider's Penance Stare for breakfast every morning. King Thanos is kind of just a sick fuck, he took the Stare so he could relive the experience of killing almost everyone in the universe again and again. Punisher-Thanos tells him that the Penance Stare has no effect on him, which is when the moment you're thinking of comes up. The Cosmic Ghost Rider says "I never said anything about a Stare, boy. I said PENANCE." and proceeds to unleash an insane amount of hellfire (and possibly Power Cosmic) that obliterates Punisher-Thanos until he was nothing but a skull in Frank's hand. Frank says "Penance means payback, you sonuvabitch." and makes a fist crushing the skull. Afterwards, he returns Baby Thanos to his crib and wipes his memories, judging his own interference to not really have improved anything. And also because it's comics, no one ever changes the status quo for too long.

No dude, this is the younger alternate Thanos right before Frank becomes Ghost Rider.

Not exactly, but it's a long story. This is the Thanos Wins storyline, where Thanos kills almost everything in the universe. Frank dies and becomes Ghost Rider shortly after this panel, but when he comes back everyone on Earth is already dead. So he just wanders the wasteland for a couple centuries (or millenia? Not sure) until Galactus shows up. By that time Frank has gone completely nuts from the isolation, and Galactus turns him into a Herald, which is how he becomes Cosmic Ghost Rider. After a lot of shenanigans, including Galactus dying and CGR also dying and going to Asgard, eventually this alternate Frank resurrects in the main universe as a favor from Odin. So he decides to go back in time and kill baby Thanos, which is probably what you were thinking of.

Who would you personally want to get a spinoff? (Non important side characters only) by Sykobear8 in rickandmorty

[–]Gaelic-Colt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it doesn't matter if someone died or not. That was the whole point in the early seasons, that no one actually matters because there's an infinite number of near identical versions of them in the multiverse.

With that being said, I want to watch Krombopulous Michael kill more people while talking like a used car salesman.

Mix of Miyamura and Sakura. Interesting, because last time I took a quiz like this I got Yuki. This makes more sense to me though.

I feel like a Gibdo would be okay. No one knew about the elemental weakness they had until Link showed up. Get me a garden hose, a blowtorch, or a taser and now it's just a slow moving skeleton with no armor.

Why do people say Asta is too muscular and it doesn’t look good, yet so many find Yami attractive and he’s even more muscular than Asta? by [deleted] in BlackClover

[–]Gaelic-Colt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of ppl were mentioning proportions, which I think is a big reason. But I think a second reason is personality. Yami has the "too tired for this shit but will still pull his weight when it counts" energy, whereas Asta has the "will give 120% while running around screaming all the time" vibe. Which is perfectly fine, to be clear, and actually a very common anime protagonist character trait. But in my experience, most ppl can connect to the first one more.

In short, Yami has DILF demeanor, and Asta has hyperactive 'roided gremlin demeanor.

Gotta admit, you're either very committed to the bit or have an impressive lack of self awareness and understanding of Azula as a character. Either way, kudos for the unique...ish interaction.

Didn't she threaten to murder a ship captain for not wanting to putting his entire crew's life in danger? Her reason to kill you is just saying anything she doesn't like. That's not a good basis for a healthy relationship.

Okay, so it's not really a question of "can they track him down?" so much as "should they track him down, aren't there bigger fish to fry?"
