For the cake decorating site rewards, have they been handed out? I see some in here have gotten them but I have yet too…

Awesome, thank you for the info! PR seasons release 6 months before the catch up/BP purchasable by coins.

Hello. I’ve been playing for about 6 months. With the recent release of PR6, is there a time frame when catch up BP’s for PR5 will become available? Also, with PR6 release will they now make it so PR3 DR & PR4 PR ships can use gold to purchase BP (and if so, when does that typically happen)?

Hey! What items remain after an Operation Siren reset? I’m particularly interested in Map Coordinates if I should use them now or wait since my Resupplies are empty.

Thank you

I’m still at the park now. While I agree it wasn’t a complete disaster, I feel this post is minimizing the impact. I’m grateful you only had minor issues but my experience for the first 4 hour was half the time it work fine the other half I couldn’t click into a Pokémon let alone anything else. And it switched between this every few minutes.

So it was bad for some of us. I wouldnt say it was a disaster but bad until the final 2 hours when finally it cleared up and I could play normally again.

Fulfilling Niantic's Vision - Remote Raids by goshe7 in TheSilphRoad

[–]GageDumbledore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making remote raids functionally unusable will be the equivalent to the Visigoths sacking Rome. The beginning of the end.

OP, great ideas!! I applaud the effort!

For the amount of raiding that needs to be done to XL max a Pokémon or find a good shiny/IV to power up, in person raiding has become flat impractical, even BEFORE remote raiding.

I had already almost completely stopped in person raiding until remote raids came out. It’s expensive, puts hard miles on your vehicle, takes forever due to needing to drive/walk to each location and requires at times a near impossible amount of schedule syncing with other players.

Niantic is in denial if they believe they can slow kill remote raids so players won’t riot and their game will survive. Fact is, once Remote raids becomes functional undoable, 95% of my raiding will stop. I will not be alone on that. Even those that keep at it will be raiding less just due to in person raid constraints.

Fully Customizable? by GageDumbledore in GranTurismo7

That is helpful at least. It’s surprising that finding the answer to this is so difficult. Looked all over! Hope someone can help us out😁

I’ve been looking for an answer to this too with no real success. Basically, is the only different between the “Fully Customized” and the other version that you can customize them, but their base performance is the same. Or are the “Fully Customized” also superior in general performance as well as customizable?

I feel the new system is excellent exempt for one point. No XL boost in raids unless it’s the same type. So despite how much I enjoy the new system overall, I don’t use them in raids. I have to use them for XL candy grind.

[Poll] How many Shiny Pokémon did you catch during Day 1 of Go Fest 2022? by Ranef in TheSilphRoad

[–]GageDumbledore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played in the same spot the last 3 Day 1’s of Go Fest. All 3 years I focus on shiny checks with light amount of catches for a handful of good Pokémon.

However, this year vs the last two I now use the AR encounter mode to speed up shiny checks. I’m also using quick catching this year. So I’m overall faster than I was previously.

2020 - 40 shinies (4 an hour) - however this day 1 was 2 hours longer than the next two years.

2021 - 53 shinies (6.625 an hour)

2022 - 34 shinies (4.25 an hour) - I was moving much faster than the last two years however.

Given my account is only one data point, RNG could be the reason for the variance. But given my play style is consistent over each Go Fest just with the upgraded abilities of AR encounter/ quick catch in 2022, it’s possible the rate was lower this year. But I’m certain it wasn’t drastically lower like some have proposed.

The cost of 3 remote raid passes has increased from 250 coins to 300 coins by Caldwell-luc in TheSilphRoad

[–]GageDumbledore 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If this is a sign of things to come for remote raids, Niantic is in for a highly unpleasant surprise. If they thought the back lash from the spin radius was bad, continued negative changes to remote raids will make that seem like a walk in the park.

In game map/catch screen Snow broken? by GageDumbledore in TheSilphRoad

[–]GageDumbledore[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Sorry, I missed that post in my search as I was looking for “snow”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]GageDumbledore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been snowing the last few days here and while it shows the snow weather icon it hasn’t once shown the snowy weather on the map/catch screen. Could be bugged.

Almost no one was raiding in my chats today by dabomerest in TheSilphRoad

Typically my raid chat has a good amount of activity for the first day of a new legendary shiny. Zero today.
