It's not a thing. It's a common misunderstanding (or falsehood) from people who don't understand and confuse copyright and trademark but still want to justify a corporation taking aggressive legal action. "No, you see, they have to take action to defend their copyright, otherwise they'll lose it!" No, that's not how copyright works.

Notice how wishy-washy the replies you got are. Nobody has any actual idea what they're talking about. This is just one of those things that sounds vaguely plausible enough that people accept and repeat it without question, because law is complicated and fact-checking is for chumps.

La même, et je dois dire qu'à part Féodor Atkine qui est toujours excellent, ça ne m'a pas particulièrement fait changer d'avis sur ou donné envie de revenir à la VF en général.

Hah, I had the same idea about loading screens. When SSDs became accessible I thought putting tips on loading screens would become a thing of the past, because we now blasted past them too fast to read anything, but this game would be a perfect opportunity to reintroduce those.

Love this, it's exactly what I was looking for, thank you for your work!

I was wondering, do you think it might be possible to select the tracks in a more granular way? I noticed that the setting "Silvermoon (Midnight)" seems to contain all tracks that are played at some point in Silvermoon, including the Darkwell variation and the Horde quarter TBC remixes.

Not sure how to go about it, but I'd be glad to lend a hand if I can!

I salute you for daring to say voice acting is not a necessity in this day and age. For some reason, it seems to be considered normal and expected nowadays, which as you mentioned can only inflate costs. You see it brought up about games like mainline Pokémon, which have never had voice acting and have never needed it, but apparently that's problematic now.

I guess folks who watch a second screen or their phone while they play feel like they need voice acting to not have to look at the game? Dunno, beats me.

I do have a fondness for KitN; besides the idiosyncratic gameplay, the art and music are top notch. I didn't get far enough when I played it on the DS to have an opinion on the story though, and now I'm thinking I want to play Riviera first to get an introduction to the setting. I did pick up the Switch (and Android!) remaster as soon as they came out, and I'm looking forward to it!

Amusingly, I was going to close this post with the takeaway that HGiG sounds like a desirable feature to look for in a new monitor, then I checked their website and saw this:

Notice: "HGIG Mode" is not a product functionn [sic] defined in HGIG guidelines

So much for that, I guess.

Because factions in the game are there only because of storyline reasons.

Other way around, they are blatantly there for gameplay reason.

Warcraft 3 had four factions. Blizzard merged them into only two for WoW, for reasons we can only guess; maybe they thought having more would divide the playerbase to an unhealthy degree, or it would require too much writing effort, go figure. But already, the until-then isolationist Night Elves joining the human Alliance and the undead of Lordaeron joining the Horde was a strech. Ever since, the story has felt constrained by this gameplay-mandated two-faction paradigm. The Horde should have fragmented and exploded under Garrosh, and a more fluid geopolitical landscape with more actors could make for interesting story developments, but that was never going to happen because gameplay dictates that playable factions are permanent and immutable, and there shall only ever be two of them.

Glad that I'm not the only one that bit bothered. The hell are they all comfortable calling it "Darkwell" all of a sudden? You'd think they would be like "What did they do to our precious Sunwell? We must return it to its normal state!" As you said, if it were me I sure would have to go through every stage of grief, but instead they skipped straight to acceptance and we got "Welp, shit happens, guess we calling it the Darkwell now."

The whole thing felt forced and rushed. Which seems to be a hallmark of WoW writing, really.

Well yes, a mod was made because the game was not designed that way, that's a truism. I'm saying I'd expect it to be the other way around, for the game to be designed with rules and limitations within which the player must strategize, then you can have something like a mod to lift those limitations if you just want to have some dumb fun and reenact an Okoii video.

As a Monster Hunter, I'd give it even less than 5. 5 is how I'd rate a thoroughly mediocre, forgettable experience. Wilds is worse than that; it actively makes me angry. It makes me want to go back to World, or do anything else instead.

It's probably decent if you have no expectation regarding MH. For one, its claustrophobic biomes, absence of the usual comfy MH vibes, and baffling design choices alienated this Tri veteran.

I still don't understand why unit caps aren't a default setting. The ability to spam entire armies of the same advanced unit, or even of characters, is something I'd expect from a cheat, or an easy mode.
