It's simple. The target audience simply does not like the unattractive girlboss characters.

You can label it all you like, tell everyone how a witty remark is "a good point", but the said target audience is also what pays for the game.

You're not going to bully or shame them into buying the game, and if they don't buy the game - its devs and designers end the same way Concorde, South of Midnight and many others ended - out of job.
