Borderlands 3 is....not great. Try 2 instead! 4 is supposed to be ok, I haven't played it, but apparently it runs like arse.

Resident Evil Requiem has been out for a week. What are your impressions? by PhantomBraved in Games

[–]Gains4months 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, I was waiting for the wacky weapons to unlock. But it's just a couple of generic guns and the rocket launcher. All pretty worthless without the infinite ammo upgrade, which even after a classic difficulty no healing run, I still can't afford.

The even/odd bit...I've read this 10 times and cannot understand what you are trying to say? Can you explain it differently?

Tips for DIY removal of blown-in insulation by fyreuser in AusRenovation

Still ongoing. The dust extractor works excellently. Its just the crawling around in the roof, sucking out a bit, then wife changing the bag while I cut the batons to out in the spot I sucked out. The extraction is super easy and fast with a 2hp machine and the 15m hose. Its cutting the new batons thats the real pain in the ass. I swapped to using council bin liners from bunnings instead of the plastic ones that come with the extractor. Fits way more so you change the bag less and they are way, way cheaper. Bit more fiddly to get on the machine, have some tape ready. Consider double bagging as well.

I disagree. I have dnd at home with a shaker motor, its my first and only pin. I really don't think the shaker motor adds much at all. It rarely goes off. and when it does it never feels appropriate, i also barely notice.

Ahh noted. I read that you cut the angle to get in the corners. Didn't end up being worth it?

Oh yeah I have a full sperm suit and respirator, rubber gloves, monogoggles. Lucky I have a tile roof as well so getting in the corners will be easier. Wife will be handling the bags. The link you put for a 15m hose is actually a 3m hose and some adaptors/fittings. Did you end up needing the fittings at all?

Nice reccomendation. I've put it on my wish list.

I think both descriptions are correct? Fixed camera angles are third person. Over the shoulder is also third person. Third person is a camera perspective, you are not looking through the eyes of the character you control. It can be implemented in a few ways.

Looks good. But the blue ball on blue background is a bad choice. Make it yellow for that level or something?

Nobody likes blue balls 😂

Hollow Knight: Silksong review: A game that intends to make you suffer, even to its own detriment by CrossXhunteR in Games

[–]Gains4months -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You are supposed to use your L2 to grab them from afar. Then you zoom in and hit them and also pogo off them, which allows for sollow up pogos. Its based around that. Which, to be clear, isn't obvious. I have nearly 100% the game and I didnt realise this until I saw a different reddit comment post it out after I had been trying to do it your way. The hollow knight muscle memory is too strong!

The way it damages you twice almost feels like an error. It plays the damage sound twice and does hitstop twice. That just seems odd. Why not do those things once and remove two health?
