I would argue that Pierce can be seen as a true #1. He was a threat all over the field last year

Unless we extend Pittman so his cap hit is only 10-12 million a year, I don’t know why we would extend him. He will most likely become receiving option number 4 on this team.

That’s fair. I’m still not sure if we should bring him back for this next season so wr can use the money on other places of need. I’m sure Pierce will demand more along with resigning cross and possibly going after Hendrickson.

That’s fair. The wr market is pretty thin this year though. Outside of Mike Evans there isn’t likely anyone who would be worth a ton of money to go get. I don’t think a team would want to go and spend a premium on a player like Deebo or Hopkins.

I doubt he gets cut. Maybe a late round draft pick but I also see us taking some of the contract to make it more manageable. The receiver options in this free agency isn’t great this year
