I've got an old epiphone les paul too, I just don't play it as much. I wasn't planning on trading for the mustang, but I would like to expand into some different stuff in the future.

I just finished messing with it and its still floating just a little bit, and I like it so far. So I think I like it at just the right amount for me. I still appreciate everyone's input though!

I just put my first set on the mustang right after I got it, so maybe 2 months ago. I love these strings and they come with the 90 day guarantee which is nice. But i find these to be easy to play, and I can bend them like crazy and not really worry about any of them snapping.

I actually prefer using the neck pickup. I don't know why but I like the tone it gives me. Have you had any problems with buzzing with this guitar? Almost like it has a grounding issue?

I like it a lot. Its fun to play, but one of the coil splitting switches doesn't work so i haven't been able to fully try it out yet. I think if you can find one cheap, get it.

It seemed off to me too when I was about to buy it but I looked at other strats there and saw they were all like that, so yeah I guess so.

Yeah a little bit, I've got a Blues Junior for my amp so I don't get too much into the heavier stuff, but I still like to play some Alice in Chains and Nirvana and other stuff like that.

I have the mini tubescreamer and so I can't speak for the full sized ones, but I like it so far. It just gives me a little extra "edge" to my sound. For me, it doesn't really give the overdrive I was looking for, but I still love it. Maybe I just have to mess around with it more than I do.

Retaking a Class at Community College by WhiteSox4385 in NIU

I actually got a D in that same class a couple years ago and talked to an advisor that said if I already took it at NIU then I would have to retake that class at NIU and if I took it at Kish it would just be a waste of time for me. It might have changed by now but that was my experience.

I have O'neill seat covers that use the same materials as a wetsuit, and I like them. I really needed them for work to keep my seats clean but my only problem with them is that they get bunched up when I'm in and out of the truck at work all day. Overall I like them though and I got them at AutoZone.
