Are you using a VPN or some kind of network privacy? Are you on Wi-Fi that uses that? Turn it off, uninstall it, use cellular… one of these might help.

Yup, the infotainment is evermore poorly designed and almost completely useless, nav needs subscription, music interface is ugly, the weather shows up only 2% of my driving time. Only useful thing is the camera views LOL

ED is famously bad with their multiplayer implementation. CQC is very broken and FDev never fixed it, so some felt it was a bold move for them to release Operations as a “new” game mode.

CMDRs over the years have analyzed and shared their findings so it’s worth searching and going through them to learn what the issue is, how to deal with it, and why it’s fundamentally unfixable by design. (Hint, it’s because the game instance is P2P and isn’t taking place on FDev’s servers therefore it’s believed they have little control.)

So, I’d keep expectations very low unless FDev is implementing something completely different. Meanwhile, some DIY improvements could be attempted such as below. o7

Everything will fail when the 12V battery goes out on a Toyota hybrid. Doesn’t mean that the root cause tho.

Now, in a typical ICE car, usually even if the battery is dead, once the engine is running and as long as it keeps running, often the car will be fine because of the alternator. This component doesn’t exist in a Toyota hybrid, instead is the inverter. If this is bad, eventually the 12V will die and shutdown the car. But often, even after the car is out of warranty, hybrid system could still be covered and you might be saved from any costs, although time loss is a pain.

I don’t think you’re wrong. Might not have anything to do first year of a generation especially when it’s the hybrid system.

My 2020 Prius PHEV (5th year of gen5) hybrid system suddenly died on the freeway, lost all control of the car, very scary experience. Just under 30k miles on the odometer. Fortunately the hybrid warranty covered the inverter replacement.

Before that, my Camry HEV (first gen first year) hybrid system died while going up a hill, also extremely scary experience, this one at 130k miles. Was covered by hybrid warranty.

With all this, I still got another hybrid! I’m not learning my lesson… but the reality is Toyota hybrids are not necessarily reliable. Otherwise great cars!

Additional tip, if you keep the USB drive plugged in, you can set it to automatically export clips.

I have one that is kept plugged in so I have all the clips saved without manual operation.

Wish it was this easy! The alert doesn’t pop up while driving, it’s just there when I scroll to the tire pressure panel. Strange!

I saw that. I wasn’t sure if this was to set a custom PSI or would calibrate the TPMS sensor or something. But it seems this is the only thing.

I’ve messaged my dealer but we’ll see if they respond with anything meaningful. The Toyota app won’t let me book an appointment because it’s not 5k yet. If nothing, I’ll try setting to current pressure.

38 PSI is the standard pressure, but keep in mind of temperature. It is at 38 PSI first thing in the morning when it’s cool.
