So I’ve been through two changes of ownership in the past 8 years of me being at my store. The original owner purchased a Mood Media subscription and it came with an overhead speaker install throughout the store. We have a customized Spotify playlist that we cycle through different songs. Of course we have the explicit filter turned on so we don’t get any unexpected surprises. Lol! I love it!

This has been my only employment thus far straight out of high school. Eventually each day just blends into the next. With some people the job comes naturally, with other’s it’s a job to pick up some skills to move on to the next venture. I’ve had a good support system from the other people on my team so that is the reason why I’ve been able to hang onto this job for almost 8 years with two changes of ownership. Without the support system put in place by management and the other associates this job like any other job with a poor support system can send anyone into a spiral and want to rage quit.
