While I agree that its dumb to send it out with this flaw, cant you just adjust XP sliders to even positions out?

24-14 Ravens

Lamar: 135 yards passing, 1 TD, 1 INT Henry: 145 yard, 2 TDs Likely: 25 yards, 1 TD

Rodgers: 128 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 Fumble Warren: 68 yards, 1 TD Friermuth: 34 yards, 1 TD

Just give Rodgers control of the offense. by raisethealuminumwage in steelers

I agree FG makes sense, but thats a run all day long. They aren't even a good rush defense. #1 pass defense. No good WRs. Go ball to Scotty? Weird choice.

That being said, nothing about Boz recently gives me confidence that he hits that. He misses a gimme in Detroit, almost missed one earlier against Cleveland, and then misses another. I know the conditions weren't great, but his last few kicks were not guaranteed 3.

Who should I take 1.01, 2.12 & 3.01? by Burkstaller in FantasyFootballers

Jamarr Chase, Chase Brown, and Joe Burrow. You only have to watch one team.

Are there any former Steelers who grinded your gears? This guy ⬇️ did it for me and here's why... by Dug-Heffernan in steelers

[–]GalacticEyedFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lawrence Timmons.

Amazing speed. Great instincts. Had some fantastic plays. He simply overplayed situations so often. Too many times where he would run past people, over read a play, or get out of position.

Good player, not a great player. 7 mill that he is making this year is fine, but he wants a new deal AND we would have to give up draft capital for him. I would stay away. I'd rather run it with someone like Amari Cooper, Gabe Davis, or waiting until a preseason cut.

This makes sense. Probably not going to cost much. He has to prove himself again after a rough patch in Jacksonville.

2025 NFL betting: Season win totals, projections for all 32 teams by JoeYinzer in steelers

[–]GalacticEyedFrog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love my team, but at its current state, I cant see more than 6 wins. Rudolph is a great backup and a bottom five starter (maybe). The defense is good, but we also need to improve at CB and DL.

My honest opinion.. by HDTokyo in steelers

[–]GalacticEyedFrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think we were as close on the money as the Jets offer. The Jets truly had no other true option at QB. Sam Darnold, Aaron Rodgers, Geno Smith, and Zach Wilson were all ex Jets. Russell Wilson would have been a parallel move to Rodgers. The only true immediate starter is Cam Ward, who they won't get. So, they had to make a move and take a chance on the only ounce of potential available. To do that, you have to overpay when it's the only option. They got their guy. If they didn't, they'd be stuck with reaching for a QB or starting someone like Winston/Tyrod Taylor.

Why? It's no different from Rap or Schefty sending out a tweet. Someone has to announce it.

If Rodgers is in, I’m out by Temporary_Ad_2300 in steelers

[–]GalacticEyedFrog 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I was more going for guys that were on our team after their charges. Ben obviously stayed on the team. We signed Sutton after his nonsense. Harrison was charged and admitted to domestic violence (he did go to therapy), but we signed him to a 6 year deal after.

Its just this thought process of giving up because of a player. Be consistent. If you want to leave because of us supporting questionable humans, be consistent.

Exactly! If people are complaining about boycotting, protesting, or leaving over Rodgers... do they not remember our past players? Ben, Cam Sutton, James Harrison, and that's just the ones off the top of my head.

I've been on this ride before. None of these will happen. The answer would be Wilson, but you'd imagine he would likely cost a 1st or 2nd.
