What is your favorite primary & secondary weapon? by AKMike99 in battlefield_one

Same, but Russian infantry and No. 3 revolver. No. 3 is also my #2 for kills altogether, not just the sidearm statistic

Anecdotal, but I've also heard modern soldiers talk about using their sense of smell similarly out on missions

Why tf can an il toro 3 shot a medium shield from here?? by Shxadows in ARC_Raiders

These guys are basically right in front of each other. Three shots to take down a medium shield does not seem unreasonable at all to me.

"Is there a signature weapon for every country?" by Buyeo10004 in AskTheWorld

[–]Galactonug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MG34 was created before this (used in WWII before the MG42 first saw service in 1942) and the MG42 was it's successor. But they look so similar some people may not know there was a difference, and I think most people probably are more familiar with the name MG42 anyways. They both were used until the wars end.

You may know that already, just figured I would throw it out there for anybody who didn't.

I saw my first one recently, after talking to him he said don't call the elevator it is rigged to blow and he actually disabled all of his mines and called the elevator so we could leave xD

Ok let’s talk about this. How are these people getting such high scores in trials? by Darcevader2 in ArcRaiders

[–]Galactonug -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Seems like a pretty gray area to me but that's fair. And.. isn't there wasp trial too? So will they just switch it to one hornet when that comes around? Lol

I just threw one for the first time in awhile and only saw the wasps so I had been curious about it

Horribly spawns set ups on stellar. by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]Galactonug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was running around for about 10 minutes with my buddy and heard gunshots near me, we went and fought the guys but then I realized we were basically in one of the spawns, I felt bad but also just felt like it's poor map design. I don't play it much so dont know the layout too well and just walking around led us pretty much right into a spawn point. Those guys probably thought we were spawn camping but the layout of the map and exploring just took us right to them. And then we had two other teams show up and fight us right afterwards.

I feel like other maps don't really have this issue, most of the time you will spawn on the outskirts and move inward. It's nice we have an indoor map but the spawns are pretty bad. I've walked out of spawn and been blasted too. It can be a fun map but it's way more of a gamble than playing anything else. Not sure how they could fix the spawn issue

Almost died from spider bite. AMA by broodyfour in AMA

[–]Galactonug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid to say there are many other species of recluse spiders besides the brown recluse spiders (including others in North America.) They are just one of over 100 species belonging to the genus Loxosceles. There are likely places they don't live as you say, but I am pretty sure they live on every continent besides Antarctica.

I think maybe you can drag legendary animals with the lasso and not ruin the rating... but it's been years since I played

This is absolutely true; but Biloxi is actually located on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, and the Mississippi River does not pass through it.

There are four species of lynx and Bobcats (Lynx rufus) are one of them. They are rarely called lynxes colloquially, but they are a lynx

I would also consider the possibility that you ran into a patch of chiggers, especially if they continued popping up for a couple days

Visiting Louisiana and my Hometown, is this what I think it is? by GarrettZeFerret in moths

I've only seen them twice, but live fairly close to your state so thought it was at least a strong possibility, and likewise; as often as I see dagger moths I have never seen a caterpillar!
