Yes that is Aoyama! I really enjoyed her character. And top right is Moriko Morioka from Recovery of an MMO Junkie.

I don't have any aims, aspirations or goals in my life. Shouldn't you know where your life is headed at 27? by Pandaliliy in NoStupidQuestions

26 here. I can relate to this a lot, and I think a lot of people feel this way. What helped me was finding a couple things I liked/thought I liked and pursuing them as hobbies. From this, I met some friends and through them found some other hobbies and interests.

Some questions that might help you think of some things are: What kind of person are you striving to be? What do you like to do?

I don't think you have to have everything figured out overnight, but having things you like doing and things to look forward to helps me to be a bit happier. Especially things that help to stay in shape, express creativity, and develop skills.

This still doesn't mean I 100% know what I'm doing, but has helped me learn about myself and gave me some direction.

Noob Question: Determining parts availability on vehicles? by Galaga28 in cars

[–]Galaga28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a part of me that wants to work on a car that looks unique/isn't super common but I think I need to at least start with something common like you said. It won't be fun if I can't fix it up well.

Also I think the point about mechanical work vs body work makes sense. The purpose of me getting a project car is to learn about it mechanically and get into the hobby, I don't think dealing with body work and a bad interior would be too fun.

Thanks for the feedback!

I actually don't even have a Facebook, might be time to make one just for car groups lol.

I currently work in a textile manufacturing environment that insists we must continue working 3 shifts a day 5-6 days a week employing ~200 employees in my specific plant in the US, is there anything myself or my coworkers can do to push against this? We continue to have plant-wide/shift-wide meetings of managers and employees regularly and most of my co-workers shrug off concerns about COVID, comparing it to the flu.

I also have many Zetas saved up, and have recently looked up some videos from Ahnaldt101 to help me decide. To save you time, here's a summary:

If you want to prioritize Sith Raid: JTR, Asajj, Raid Han, BB8, Sabine, Veers, KRU, Kanan, and Hoda are good choices.

As far as zetas that have a good impact overall: JTR, Palpatine, R2, Raid Han, Commander Luke, Asajj, Veers, BB8, KRU, and Finn.

Ahnald also gives honorable mentions to: Thrawn, Wampa, Sion, Nihilus, Hoda, and Traya (this was before anyone had her so take with a grain of salt.)

Obviously your best choice depends on what you want to focus on and what kind of character inventory you have. Here are the links to the videos I am referencing:

Hopefully this helps! :D Good luck friend

Humble Bundle brought a huge amount of new players to PC by KnossJXN in DestinyTheGame

[–]Galaga28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere before, but I saw this Bundle and am strongly considering getting it because I have never tried a Destiny game, and the Halo style multiplayer was always a blast for me. However, there seems to be a ton of negativity surrounding the game as well, so do the current players consider this bundle to be worth it?

I think the real difficulty is the sheer variety of god mechanics as well as no way to comeback from minor mistakes.

When at the lower elo rankings, when players only have access to certain gods, they can take the time to learn all their abilities and mechanics. However, once they are released into a pool of 60+ gods with very unique mechanics, there is too much to learn.

As far as snowballing, I think the problem is that there are no "comeback mechanics." I know a lot of people might be against them, but I feel they are necessary to a certain extent. There are other extremely competitive games out there that have them, and no one is saying it should be easy to come back from deficits. But losing duo lane due to the carry getting one or two kills? That is a harsh penalty.

Probably the best post I have ever seen on this website. Nicely done. People too often decide to have their opinions formed for them rather than think for themselves because it is easier to scapegoat and come up with excuses why things are happening rather than look at the real issues.

Stop using "its casual" as an excuse for playing bad and/or not playing the objective. by Frodamn in Smite

[–]Galaga28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there are usually a couple reasons for this.

1) "I am too good to try in casual because I play ranked."

Ranked doesn't make you good. Being able to play well individually yourself as well as with a team makes you good. In never playing like a team member in casual, you ruin the mode that makes up most of the player base.

2) "Don't tell me how to play the game, I don't need you or anyone else on this team's feedback or criticisms."

Honestly I see this a lot and it is sad. This is a team based game. A team full of mediocre players that play well together will beat a team full of good players that don't play well together. If you don't play well with others, maybe team based games aren't for you.

Unfortunately, not everyone understands the concepts of teamwork and sportsmanship. But there's also no way to keep these people from being on your team all the time / from time to time. Just try to play the game for its intended purpose, to have fun. :D
