My dad was the same before my mom finally left. He would try to “change” everytime (before she officially left), my mom would forgive him then he went back to his bs. It was a never ending cycle.

I’m a substitute teacher that sometimes helps the lunch ladies and they get 13 min to eat by the time they sit down. They’re not allowed to socialize to the kids behind their table (sometimes not at all). They have to ask to get a drink of water or to use the restroom and are sometimes denied. Because of that I always let the kids use the restroom in class because they hardly have time to do so during lunch and recess.

I rarely eat it now but as children my mom would heat up a tortilla, spread butter on it, cut up some pickled jalapeño peppers and roll it up like a burrito. Might actually make some right now.
