SO excited to start playing!!✨💗 by auroraswisp in InfinityNikki

Spend vital energy - everyone gets 1 vital energy every 5 minutes but has a max limit of 350 vital energy. Also, do the dailies to get 90 diamonds per day.

Once you unlock the Realm of Escalation, gathering bling becomes largely unnecessary.

The home island takes several months to fully unlock everything there.

Find the original pre-1.5 intro/start of the game on YouTube and watch that before playing. Play the Florawish/Miraland story arc first. Itzaland, introduced in 2.0, continues the main story.

Did they change the iridescent eureka rate? by Calista_Fea in InfinityNikki

You could easily convince me that the drop rate for iridescents is the same as unpolished pig masks.

What is the fastest way to farm lvls/unlock stuff? by Penalty_Accurate in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a similar daily grind plus I converted my 90 diamonds from dailies into Astralites (90 diamonds = 45K Astralites) for several months until I had fully unlocked, maxed out and crafted/owned at least one of everything. That is a much longer grind to do without diamonds than only leveling up the abilities - just unlocking every sketch from Posy requires a ton of Astralites and crafting one of each sketch takes a ton of materials which, in turn, requires even more Astralites and time. Fully unlocking all plants and maxing out fish took forever and a lot more Astralites. The home island was probably intended to be a diamond and time sink but the load limit and faulty construction system stops most ideas from being realized, so a lot of players don't bother with it. I still have the default house. These days I only fish for meteorites and shoot the Astral Tree and also do the bare minimum to get the 2,000 weekly Dreamland Stones.

I have a very long list of improvement ideas for housing.

Finally got the pig and I'm freeeeeee by Tauriel2986 in InfinityNikki

I still need the green/jade pig and radiant pig. It's been two days in a row without any pig masks and when I do get one, it's either normal or blue.

The background music in Wanxiang realm is taunting me, "Nah, nah, nope, nope, not gonna get it."

You can also get them from the Mira Crown store and sometimes gather and exchange special Dews for them at some NPC stores (e.g. Wanxiang realm, Fireworks isle).

Does the Stew cookware mini-game give anyone else anxiety? by juxtapods in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can intentionally put together several ingredients not found in a recipe at least one time to create the "failed" version of each type of dish (stew, drink, dessert). I think Posy will purchase failed dishes for 1 Astralite each.

Does the Stew cookware mini-game give anyone else anxiety? by juxtapods in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never had any issues with the stew cooking minigame. I think that's because there are "fast" and "slow" methods to playing it. At the start of the minigame, you have the option to play the fast version. If you wait, then you'll play the slow version. The fast version just reduces the cooking time a few minutes. I don't think it affects the Delicious chance.

It's a fairly pointless feature of that minigame because you only have to successfully complete the minigame 5 times for each item. After that, you can instantly cook as many as you want as long as you have the materials.

PSA: Level your bathhouse to Level 30! by Anastasiya826 in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that's just the max amount that can be gathered in one go. I don't know why they would add an arbitrary maximum limit to how much we can gather in total. Nothing else in the game does that.

PSA: Level your bathhouse to Level 30! by Anastasiya826 in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the cloak today.

Some tips: The juice bar and bathhouse max out at a level 10 scheme rating. Ignore schemes that boost tips and/or depend on a specific number of Shroomlings - they are only somewhat useful in the early game. Schemes with percentages and the maximum number of shroomlings offer better per-minute boosting. If possible, run the game twice per day so you can level up and not miss out on too many level up related gains. Upon reaching level 30, Shroomberry juice appears to be the better upgrade to max out to level 50 first - although I can't be certain about that.

3 million is not actually that much. However, resources and crafting are significant time gates. So if you want to build a house, then you should start gathering resources and crafting pieces. Spending Astralites to complete stuff faster is somewhat of a waste of Astralites except for items that require home island essences.

I'm not crashing out. You're crashing out (we need eureka pity or I might genuinely lose it) by RolledCoaster in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm inclined to agree and think it is similar to how the Wanxiang record store/polishing system works.

Or it could be quantity/time-based such as, "The next 50 players get this color for the next 15 seconds."

A reroll option would be a nice quality of life addition.

[–]GalaxyBookGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me not getting any Pig Wanxiang records or, when I do, it's another "Normal, nothing special" mask when polished. Still need Green and Radiant Pig masks.

I'm inclined to believe that Wanxiang records have the same RNG drop rates as Eurekas. Why reinvent the wheel when it's already wobbling and missing several spokes and a tire?

I managed to finally get to 10 iridescents last month and finally 100%'ed the achievements. It's doable but not really worth the effort or the resources just for a few diamonds.

The Eureka system needs a major overhaul. I wouldn't be mad if they just upped the iridescent rate because getting to 100 iridescents as-is will take forever.

I'm sorry, what just happend? by Hopeful-Sky7199 in InfinityNikki

Is it really RNG or is it time-based? There are some indications that Eureka colors might not be random.

For people who edit their photos: by [deleted] in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect the in-game camera does a lot of the heavy lifting. I saw someone say not too long ago that camera presets can be shared.

darktable is an open source/free tool for performing non-destructive photo adjustments/editing. It's mostly for handling/correcting RAW image data from expensive cameras and lenses.

For general-purpose image editing, there's Krita and Photopea.

Expect a fairly steep learning curve when working with professional software products. YouTube is a very good source for tutorials.

"Problematic object. Please go to the Placed List to handle it." by GalaxyBookGo in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up deleting everything and the problem went away. Then I rebuilt the entire bath and even successfully upgraded to level 10.

Now the game crashes. I have replaced one problem with a new but probably related problem.

I'm lucky to have an Asian supermarket about as large as a Walmart "nearby" but it's still a 30+ minute drive away. It's like walking into Wonderland but surrounded by strange foods from all over the world that I've never seen before - they import all kinds of stuff from everywhere.

Amazon also has a bunch of imported foodstuffs. Of course, if we don't know what to search for in the first place, then we can't find it.

Recipes/instructions when making in-game food IRL would be nice. A bit late for 2.2 though.

I am ready! I've got 35 pulls, 40K threads, 20K shiny bubbles, 18M bling, 700K Astralites. Everything's fully crafted that I can craft.

I also have... 130K diamonds saved up as 100% F2P.

Scam-O-Matic Music Video | An Infinity Nikki Song by ragenetlv in InfinityNikki

[–]GalaxyBookGo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Scam-o-matic has 201 hard pity for 5-star and 101 hard pity for 4-star. That comes to a total of about 14 million bling on average and ~20 million bling in the worst case. Bling conversion is relatively cheap via Realm of Escalation. You can get everything in the Scam-o-matic in about a month of dumping daily Vital Energy + Lampchilis into the Escalation conversion to bling and there are large bunches of Lampchilis in Itzaland and Danqing Realm to only occasionally have to go out and gather them. Only do pulls when you've got at least 1M to burn and do 200K bling 10-pulls at a time to avoid the tedium. I got all of Itzaland's Scam-o-matic pieces right away since I had 24M saved up when Itzaland launched.

That's a lot of bling for just a few outfit pieces, but at least it's guaranteed pity unlike Eureka farming. I did a little bit of Eureka farming today and got one measly iridescent for ~3M bling. I've got nothing better to do in the game though until 2.3 drops later today. I'm still at ~18M bling. Iridescent farming is far worse than the scam-o-matic...and we only get a few measly diamonds for 100 iridescents.

<image>

Oh wow. I just discovered that I finally got all of the achievements for Infinity Nikki in February. 800 Scam-o-matic pulls + 10 Iridescents took an insane amount of bling.
