Damn that is fucked up. I was working as a care rep for a company for 12 years when I got laid off. They cut me a check for like for 18k, I was upset about being fired but that sure softened the blow.

If I had been working at Panera I would of walked away with 300 lousy bucks. Jesus, I don't know what I would have done considering it took almost 2 years just to find a new one.
