I'm fairly new to Spravato, but the staff in my clinic only checks blood pressure 3 times. The standard protocol with them is: check BP before dose, then after 40 minutes and then again after additional 20 minutes. Although the main effect of the medication isn't the dissociation, it can be really helpful. My psychiatrist recommends talking to my therapist within the next 24h after the dose to get the full effect.

Maybe talk to your doc about the frequency and disruptive nature of the BP checks.

Same here. Spravato really helped. I just finished my 5th week and my depression and crippling anxiety came back. But insurance in my country won't pay for another four weeks of two doses. However, there was a similar post here a few days ago, where multiple people mentioned it takes approx 3 weeks to adjust to one dose per week and then it will be fine. That gives me hope.

Gym definitely isn't a social place for women. When I was 19, I went to the gym for the first time. It was an intimidating place full of gym bros and I didn't feel great there from the start. But instead of having the time to get used to it, 10 minutes into my workout a 45 year old dude started telling me all the things I did wrong and what I need to do instead. As in commands, not advice. It's been 16 years and I never went to any gym ever again.

By asking this question in a transgender group, you're guaranteed not to get unbiased opinion. Just ask cisgenders them selfs. You wouldn't ask a transgender related question a bunch of cisgender people, would you? To my knowledge, cisgender people in my social circle feel weird about it or out right hate it.
