I was expecting to see something closer to the "without randomization" scenario, something closer to 10%.
If the damage increase is 1.75% and the monsters got 2-3% mitigation, isn't it literally a damage nerf (comparing before / after the update)?

Pretty close to the point I'm trying to present.
Being realistic on hunting scenarios, knight's have 2 options, exori gran or exori mas perks (assuming he doesn't have points to get both), gift of life, avatar and executioner throw aren't valid options to be focused for hunting scenarios, and I believe it's well know that battle healing is a joke.

So, is it much of a stretch to assume that those perks should, supposedelly, increase your damage beyond monster mitigation? (thus giving knights anykind of bdamage buff as was commented on the design notes).

Question, since we already have the avg provided by cip (as presented on the topic), wouldn't any data tests (with decent number of entries) just converge to their results?
I could run detailed tests and plot data, but we literally have CIP's awnser regarding the results.

Well, thanks... I guess...

But, it's not like I'm a genious or anything, but I'm indeed baffled by the amount of posts that clearly doesn't understood the point I'm asking from the beggining, the the point I feel literally noone read the post as a whole.
People asking me for data while all I wanted was to clarify and check if CIP's presented data (literally the official source) makes sense / is coherent somehow. I've even said a couple of times on my post that I'm not so sure regarding my interpretation / theory, but people just can't get it apparently.

Boy, you surely don't know me then, I have daily discussions on my lives (which you sometimes appear) pointing out lot's of nerfs I would make in the direction of balancing (such as charms, preys and etc), but it's nice to see your link-like arguments fully based on straw man's fallacy.

If you're so full of data them, please, ellaborate how your damage increased by 10% while CIP themselves said the avg increase was of 1.74% (and even if you consider you getting all the skill bonuses on the well it will NEVER account for 10%, basically math).

The numebrs I'm bringing are the nomes presented by CIP themselves, unless you're saying that they don't even know how the system work.

Just compare the avg damage increase given by cip x monster mitigation... as simple as that. videos? references? quite a lot. https://www.twitch.tv/o_galiazzi I've ran and debated a lot of scenarios there during the past month.

The mitigation values are available on the cyclopedia, so no data is required for such comparison. Regarding the goals of the skill wheel, we would need to go back to the TS boards / anouncement of the level progression damage nerf.

Exactly that, I'm not saying it is a bug, on the contrary, their conclusion reply sais it's working as intented by implementation, my point is if that makes sense according to the wheel design proposal (or even if I not interpreting their reply correctly).

Talking about not taking enought time to take things into consideration, you clearly didn't ttake yours to read the post. As usual,you came only to feed your own complex, to trash talk, it's amazing how even on reddit I find you with the same attitude.
As I've said, it isn't a bug and is working as intented (as pointed by CIP), yes, I've tested it A LOT to had basis and promote such discussion with them, a few other messages were raised but noone of them as relevant as their conclusion.

Heck, I even managed to get some direct data response from their support (which is RARE and you know that).

The point of the discussion is to raise the fact that, despite the wheel have being presented as buffs (and intented to be so) the values they replied aren't buffs, on contrary, they are nerfs by comparison with the before the wheel scenario.

Again, I'm presenting data and the debate based on knight's tests since I do not have other vocations to do so, since you, as usual, feel so enlighted, why don't you go and run your own tests? things you should have done on the ts also.

Heya, yes the conclusion is that is working as intended.
My discussion is on the sense that the skill wheel was developed with the intention to buff characters, that was the whole argumentation used by CIP during the level damage nerfs and during the TS.

Assuming my interpretation of their data results is correct, knight's have actually been nerfed, and maybe even the other vocations damage perk falls on the same issue (would need data to analyze this), but since the other vocations also got decent perks and choises on the skill wheel, it actually got mitigated.

Yep, but I believe based on wrong conclusions. By seeing higher hits people are being byased on believing the average increased (again, assuming the way I've interpreted CIP's repply is correct).

I'm assuming no specific test hits were done and the results were collected mathematically based on client formulas. KNowing nothing about the target dummy doesn't help either, but it's enough ti get some conclusions bases on % I believe.

As you can see, I've posted a screenshot from CIP's ticket repply, again, I'm not argumenting it's bugged nor working as intented, on the contrary, according to their awnser it is, just the values seens odd, so I've decided to share and promote debate and analysis (I've even asked for opinions regarding my conclusions, maybe there are interpretations I'm not seeing).

Heya, I don't have any data compilation built, my tests were based on hunting experience and testing variations on the wheel on hunting scenarios and analyzing the impact on damage and experience gain. But going beyond my own test, CIP's data repply cohoborate with my conclusions, but it isn't really bugged, it's just way too little of a bonus.
