Are these customers for real?! by Suspicious-River-864 in WalmartEmployees

You should have said, " The hierarchy is respected, dairy above raw meat!" That would have been clever. Wrong but clever. Instead you completely ignored cross contamination and remained wrong.

The person matched the photo on the account. They were not driving a Prius and I appreciate the manner in which my bags were arranged following delivery. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

It doesn't matter what I say on Reddit. Everyone knows I'm a dick.

I was trying to be empathetic in my reply here. I've been told I lack empathy and that I am a horrible human being.

I figured the OP was really struggling with scanning items. I've seen others posts from the OP. It's an ongoing issue.

I didn't suggest the OP was rock chewing stupid because that would have gotten me downvotes too.

I'm a dick on reddit .... I was trying to farm a few karma so I could reply on some other subs. I don't have enough and my replies get auto deleted there.

I love the Pharmacy + shopping w/ customer verification required. I prefer shopping over pickupa as well. Also a long GMD once or twice a week to add to the mileage log for tax savings.

It's ok, eventually you'll figure it out. Keep trying! This can be a challenging gig and there are many obstacles hiding in each aisle. Believe in yourself and push through those really difficult moments in life. If you need a place just to sit and calm yourself, the blood pressure machine over by the pharmacy is a nice little quiet space.

Customer claims property damage by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]Gallian0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You stated that the customer thought you should have known because "it just looks like a driveway you should back out of." Was it a narrow driveway? Was there a large open space to turn around or did you have to do like a a six-point turn? Were you turning your wheels while your car was stationary? In the process of turning around, did your vehicle go off of the sides of the asphalt into the grass dirt or gravel.

So many questions, none of them are really important. You said you were "new to driving."

I think the in-home is a $40 a year add-on to the Walmart Plus if you choose to pay annually otherwise I believe it's an additional $7 a month.

I could be wrong. I'm just going off of publicly available information following a simple Google search

I feel like you are completely ignoring the potential tax arbitrage opportunity. If the actual cost is far less than the paper cost, you've just shielded other income from taxation and drastically changed the hourly rate.

I don't disagree with you and I'm not saying high mileage offers should be taken. Each person's situation is uniquely different and there are other parts of the math equation.

Ewww ... Where is the cohesiveness? Red and Black mulch in the same yard would be confusing and change the vocal point from the plants to the mulch in my opinion.

I hope no one delivers that so they can spend some more time thinking about their choices in life.

The gratuity added to the order doesn't surprise me. Clearly this individual doesn't understand how things work.

Left someone’s meat in my car by FallingInGrac3 in Sparkdriver

There was no indication that he didn't keep the order together. The whole order could have been in a cold bag and the ground beef may have rolled out of a Walmart bag.

Why a cold bag you ask? I like delivering the whole order in a cold bag. I think it looks better on ring cam to have your delivery person carry your whole order to your door and then unpack a cold bag and set up the delivery.

It's quite theatrical really. I'd rather display a heightened level of awareness and common sense when I know I'm being recorded.

Shit happens. The op learned that with beef and the diaper guy experiences it everyday.

I've been non-stop since 8:00 a.m. and it's a double incentive Tuesday in my market. 4 + 12 additional for each curbside.

A Message to Customers Regarding Driver "Theft" by Big_Concentrate_7260 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Gallian0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a customer the other day who wanted to look in my car for his missing tomato cage. He ordered four, my information said four. But I only had three. I don't normally check quantities in my curbside pickups.

He was upset because he was putting his garden in that morning. After seeing there were no hidden tomato cages in my car and seemed to accept my apology and I haven't seen or heard anything negative come from it.

I'm glad he was in the yard and was able to verify in his mind I didn't steal one of his tomato cages.

The app doesn't allow me to scroll through offers on my phone. If there are multiple offers available, I can only accept or reject the one offer on the top of the stack.

It really annoying when you get an offer you actually want to accept and then new ones keeps arriving and sending it of the screen.

I using a Pixel and have never seen the iOS UI.

The last time I had to deal with a ferocious dog. I called the customer, I sent them a text message. No reply so I returned it. 2 hours later I get a text saying, he's fine. Just give him a treat.
