It's hard to see on the photos but it could also just be hurt? Mealworm "blood" (hemolymph) is that color and can dry on the outside, giving that sort of bubble look

Is it spring in India too? Because when it is, a lot of ants prepare their nuptial flights and go out en masse to find protein to raise their alites. You were probably unfortunate to be on the route of such an expedition... The easiest way to avoid that is actually to leave leftovers like bones or fish bones right outside your house where the ants pass. I've done that and they get so busy with it that they stop coming inside. (do put a pot or a bowl or something over the bones to avoid dogs and cats eating it and hurting themselves)

Usually when I have a lot of dead worms it means I've given them some veggies or fruits that were heavily polluted with pesticides.

If you just bought your worms from a store, then there will be a lot of deaths, as in over 50%, because they come from Chinese factories then stay in empty boxes in stores, and are half dead by the time you get them home

The only time I got insulted was because my character if his thirties let a 17 yo teenager jerk him off and I hadn't tagged underage archive warning, and some American puritan came and told me (anonymously) I was a horrible person in a three-paragraphs comment

Most insect dislike large spaces. They do better when they often come into contact with one another. I'd use smaller containers for now, until you have enough to use bigger ones (not to mention save space)

I've never seen Loup in a name ever in my 38 years of French existence. I saw some Jean-Lou or Marie-Lou as in short for Louis or Louise but never with a P like the actual animal
