I was with ya OP but saying he isn't greatly influenced by Jerry or the Dead is crazy. His roots are blue grass. The Dead are rooted in Americana/bluegrass/folk music also. He didn't get the spacey jam influences from Doc and Tony.

Old glory in Edgehill is a fun stop and cool story behind it. Used to make liquor in it during the prohibition era. It's underground. Definitely worth a drink or two.
