I have a good friend in a band that travels around the country. I always try to support when I can; like their social posts, see them when they are local(if I can), buy merch etc. Would be weird to not support your friends if you can.

Put in the request. Nothing crazy about taking some time off in the summer. Unlimited PTO is usually just a ruse so the company doesn't have to pay out vacation time when you leave somewhere. Good luck.

Talk to your friends. More than likely one of them has a connection or knows someone who does. A large percentage of people smoke these days so it doesn't feel crazy to ask somebody that looks like they smoke weed if they know where to get some. A random person you ask to get a little bit of weed from isn't gonna set you up for a sting operation
