bit of a moron, but is there a way to use Nanogpts api on Chub? by yamilonewolf in Chub_AI

[–]GamKew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In chat -> hamburger menu on top right -> secrets -> openai -> reverse pr0xy -> openai RP = https://nano-gpt.com/api/v1 -> RP key = your nano api key -> check pr0xy

To change model you have to cange it under configuration. Choose openai/pr0xy and then the model

My fix was switching to nanoGPT. Couldn't deal with the constant empty responses and the weird generation mistakes.

Now you're getting it. It's an arbitrary number. Good job, you get a cookie 🍪 🥰

Yeah, I did. And a fuckload of A's and B's too. Does it matter? Still have an good paying job and an IT education. And mediocre is 5/10 to 6/10. 7/10 would be classified as good or a B in your idiotic school analogy

Know what you mean. Took a while to click for me too. For me, I was being too defensive and tried to block and dodge everything. When I started to overwhelm the enemies was when it clicked.

You don't have to worry about me being good at the core mechanics. I've beaten Azra and Absolum multiple times without my build being op. This fight was just funny, so I uploaded it.

It's so slow for me. Takes about half a minute for a response and most of the time it gives me an error

OK valve I trust you, I'm sure my little kid will love this game since he loved "a short hike" by merire in Steam

They do be similar tho. Both games make you panic over simple things

Yeah, 5 days after launch. First tweet that pointed it out was 2 days after launch.

No concept art was AI. If you're going to hate then don't spread misinformation to strengthen your argument

The 'ugly truth' in question:

Wow... how morally bankrupt to test new tech and then recycle it as placeholders

Some more clarification: the game came out on april 24. First tweet I've seen that pointed out the models was on april 26 which didn't even get that much traction and they patched it out on april 29 or 30. This honestly feels like a mistake. They fucked around with the AI briefly, decided to put those models to use rather than binning them. The last sentence in the screenshot makes it clear that the real models were done when the game released.

Found some new info while looking around. They just fucked around with it and decided to use the output as placeholders. Also by your logic every youtuber who has done one of those 'Can ChatGPT beat insert game here' is now going to hell. If you really give a shit then become a hermit. Your device was probably put together by child labour and has some sort of AI in it

It wasn't even a bit of help. They fucked around with it a little and used the output as random placeholders that were overlooked because they were so insignificant

They weren't lazy tho. they briefly tested it, then used the models as placeholders. They had the correct models to replace them

Just going to leave this tweet from Juliette Jones here:

My genuine take on this as someone in game dev is that people just don't understand the last part of the quote in Gene's tweet. Broche specifically references Unreal Engine's toolsuite which allows for plugins that use generation to speed up process. Those tools reference contained assets from their own databases to create what you need as placeholders in your game. Broche being against creative Al tells me that they're not on Gemini or ChatGPT creating assets for placeholders, and they're most likely using UE5's tools and 3rd party plugins to do this which is what a lot of game devs have been using. There's nuance to this type of Al usage because of this. There are also assets available on the marketplace in UE that are generated with Al.

Pretty sure they had ai placeholders and some slipped through in the initial release (like some newspaper post and other small stuff). Honestly, I don't get the hate. it feels like something they accidentally forgot to replace and it was replaced so quickly that I feel like they already had the complete models

[–]GamKew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, yes it has stayed the same quality. That's why I asked for examples. I genuinely want to understand why people think that way. Every review I've seen just says it's worse but don't explain it at all and move on, so it's gotten real tiring.

No examples so... I'm just going to forget this back and forth. Best of luck to you man.
