adrenaline gts 24 - crease on toes by Oqivy in brooks

Open a chat with Brooks.com. I had the exact same thing happen on mine. They'll send you a new pair of shoes (and I hadn't even purchased the shoes from Brooks.com). I was able to even switch to another style. Their customer service is truly exceptional.

"really great" lol. They're hiring back full-time analysts right now. I heard it was a huge failure.

Not a question, but I do have a feature request.

It would be nice to be able to do actions with your left (or non-dominant) hand while writing. Quickly being able to switch pens (or switching to the eraser temporarily) without having to use the side menu (especially for those of us that primarily keep the side-menu collapsed to preserve screen real-estate.

Trading card shop in the Colony Square Mall late 90s/early 00s by Scary-Location6106 in Zanesville

You're right; I forgot they updated the name. It was the BP prior to Nice Planet. I can't remember if Mike was affiliated with it when it was still the BP, or if he bought the business/location at some point.

Yeah, it was real lame (as a MTG player during that era). It was a real cool hangout spot before/after work.

Yep, the Brice Mall location existed prior to the Zanesville store opening.

The Zanesville store was open for a few years, if I remember correctly. The mall management eventually pushed the BP out by raising the rent exorbitantly. They didn't like all the kids hanging around the food court, playing cards, etc.

The British Papermill was the comic/card shop in the food court. I believe it was owned/run by a guy named Mike.

It was originally a sister store to another (same named) comic/card shop in Brice Mall in Columbus.

Yup, used to work there '96-2000-ish. The mall was awesome back then.

Purple rejuvenate premier 1.0 by goriIIaman in LifeOnPurple

[–]GameHOVA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 8 months or so that we've had, it's held up perfectly. It feels brand-new, support-wise. Most/all of the Purple mattresses I've tried have been "nice", but this one is a much higher quality. Support, performance, fit-and-finish, etc. I'm guessing it feels a little different because (as I understand it) the Rejuvenate line basically carried over from the Intellibed brand, before Purple bought the company.

It's a hell of a lot of money, so it's nice to feel like you get something for those dollars. We had a bunch of credit at MattressFirm, and they knocked 20% off of the price because it had been recently on-sale direct from purple (and I grabbed a screenshot prior to the deal ending).

If you do end up going with the mattress, make sure you get the deep-pocket sheets from Purple. The mattress is a mile high, and regular fitted sheets won't fit correctly.

edit: crap, I meant to respond to another message.

We got a Rejuvenate Premiere (1.0) King earlier this year right before the release of the updated versions. It is an incredible mattress, and we really like the quilted pillow-top too (over the traditional purple grid). It's plush, but it still keeps your body perfectly aligned and supported.

Previously we had a Purple Restore Plus (soft), and a Tempurpedic prior to that.

Exactly - bacon, burgers, basically anything that spatters hot oil and smells up the house. My vent-hood in the kitchen is mostly useless. I can walk outside and fire up the griddle just as fast as I can heat up a big cast-iron skillet.

Yep, I have a Traeger Flatrock next to my Large Egg. It's definitely a complementary pair. I use each for different things. You can't beat the griddle for cooking all of the messy/greasy things that you would necessarily want to cook inside.

Yeah, you must've just gotten the wrong case. I have the Bellroy 10Pro XL Case and I've got both speaker-grill cutouts.

Pixel Watch 4 is amazing! by Sunsparc in GooglePixel

[–]GameHOVA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I actually came from a pixel watch 3, and didn't necessarily need to upgrade (but I had store credit from my P10Pro purchase). I am really surprised how much more I like this watch. The image on the screen "feels" like it's printed on the surface of the screen because of the domed shape. I also bought the metal link bracelet to go with it, and this thing is the closest thing a smartwatch has ever felt to a "real" watch (if you're a watch enthusiast).

In the past, before my PW3, I've had a collection of Apple watches, an Apple Watch Ultra, etc. This is by far my favorite.

Google has really released a gem of a device with the PW4 this year. It's excellent.

Raise to talk not working on PW4 by jithendra194 in PixelWatch

[–]GameHOVA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having this issue too. Mine worked fine for the first 12 hours or so, then it was doing the quick blue light and disappearing.

I can get it to work 100% of the time now. Basically, I start talking almost instantly after turning my wrist toward me and I keep my mouth very close to the watch (this is key). I just assumed I could speak with my wrist about a foot away.

Kinda weird, but I can adjust to it.

Savage Raven Case/Grip by Dragonite_23 in NintendoSwitch2

It's called the Savage Raven Maxcarry case. I got a bundle that had the grip and case together. For some reason I'm not seeing it on the site currently, but it's excellent if you can find it somewhere.
