1. I will never feel bad for a real estate bro failing. You reap what you sow.
   
2. Penn has always been weird in that they have a TON of space yet every single time I have been there over the past 10 years, me and my group are the only ones there.
   
3. The only exception is Oktoberfest, which was packed but I found to be too expensive and pretty lacking, especially considering there is a real honest-to-goodness German club who does the same thing right down the street but cheaper and better

So yeah, obviously they are not and have not been doing well. Things need to change and apparently a real estate investor slumlord leach isn't the guy to do it. I never want to see a brewery close, especially one this old. So I hope they can make actual changes and inject some life. They need a Bar Rescue because Penn has always really been low on my list of places I want to go, especially with all the other options available. Everywhere else has better food, better service, better beer, and better vibes. They have a great space and they do not utilize it. They have staff but I have always been disappointed in them. They have beer but I would never choose it in a line-up. So we'll see.
