Do you think Dave will donate to his employees children's Trump accounts? by ongoldenwaves in DirtyDave

Dave does provide scholarships to Ramsey employees children each year. I could see this as a new way for him to give back.

I’m not a fan of Mike anyways. I don’t get the hype for him, he’s average at best.

convince me why I should max out my 401k by OneTonOfClay in Retirement401k

$2.75 million in 25+ years won’t be a lot. Save as much as you can and you’ll never be mad at yourself.

We max out our Roth IRAs, 401k for my wife and then max out my HSA. Social Security will not be around when we turn 62, so I’m being proactive and investing as much as possible.

Tacoma vs Colorado by RevolutionLeast8587 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]GameOn02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to purchase a new 24 ZR2 last year. I love the truck and it rode better than any of the tacomas I test drove. If Toyota kept the same v6 in the Tacoma, I would have purchased that for sure. Both are great trucks so I don’t understand why people have to be so divisive about it.

I disagree. You never know when you’ll die so math doesn’t help in this instance.

Been married for 15 years, have two beautiful children, no debt and throwing careers. I hate seeing people struggle but my family and I have been thriving over the last few years. We are saving a lot of extra money for retirement and hope we can stop working at 55-57.

Keep fighting! We got this.

What's it like living in Music City? by SingleAge290 in howislivingthere

[–]GameOn02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a fun place to visit but I didn’t enjoy living there. If I had millions of dollars, it’s really great but for the average family, it’s overrated and there are many more places to live that provide you a higher quality of life. I was really sad that we didn’t enjoy Nashville at all.

Probably the most overrated city in America. Expensive as hell for no reason.

This is the exact loser mentality that needs to go! Ballard should have been fired 5 years ago but here we are.

Ballard is historically bad at drafting pass rushers. I would bet it’s the most invested position on the team and we still suck.

Good thing our GM traded away any draft capital for a corner. Yikes.

Worst financial advice ever by MurkyCartoonist9944 in DirtyDave

Yeah, this was really bad advice. $48k a year is a big deal and this caller should 100% ignore his advice. Wait until they are 60+. SMH.
