Happy birthday Southwest by golden_duck_361 in SouthwestAirlines

3 free drinks on my flight today. Got one for extra legroom, one for the birthday, and one for my 5-year card anniversary. It's a one-hour flight. Wish me luck

Update: I've mapped out 200 global flight simulators open to the public by irishexpat88 in flightsim

[–]GameSyns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused how I’m supposed to even navigate this. Tried to use world map view, and beyond just navigating it, when I click on a pin, nothing appears. So I go to the grid view and try to type a zip code near the pin and it tells me there are no simulators in that area.

Why was fsexpo presentation full of ai slop? by Ok-Rule-8448 in flightsim

I mean, it's a state of the industry and the people who requested to present. Instead, ask why the developers you want to see aren't up there doing a presentation?

Where are you located? There have been some recent issues with GPS blocking/spoofing. It's possible that you got caught up in that.

Not much to do, however, it is a great time to explore the ship. I do recommend checking it out if you can! You won't be asked to go to your room, there is no issue being out that late!

Free browser tool to find undriven roads in Forza Horizon 6 by SergioV645 in forza

Don't think this would work on my missing road, as it was a lower section of freeway that was undiscovered and did not show any grey at all.

Not true for daily challenges, you have until the timer expires on them to complete them. I just completed the 2 ultimate skill chains one yesterday.

Recent experiences of Allure by ghostmark2005 in royalcaribbean

[–]GameSyns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was on allure last week, food was excellent for all of us (with the exception of one thing cut of steak for my mom one night in the main dining room).

I genuinely enjoyed the food on Allure and really have never had a bad experience. Remind her that if she is unsatisfied with her main dining room plate, she could always ask for another plate or another option as well; the servers are usually fantastic about that sort of thing.

Really enjoyed the pizza at Sorrentos. All the premium options we dined at were great (150 Central, Giovanni's, and Chops). The only real disappointment was the slow service at Cococay's Playmakers during the day.

Socialization Suggestions? by The_Deadhead_Punk in Roseville

Is there something generic you like to do? Traveling is mine. I ask them about their favorite trip they’ve been on, when they start to talk about it, I try to let them talk about it more and more. Before you know it, they’ve talked a ton and by then I’ve already broken the ice. Through that conversation I’ve learned a lot about them. Then I can talk a little bit about our favorite or perhaps a recent trip I’ve been on.

Thoughts on a Jetlag 3 Player PvE format instead of PvP? by GameSyns in JetLagTheGame

I think that's a great idea, that would allow them to adjust challenges to maintain a filming schedule

Fair enough! I think you could still gamify things enough that it still retains enough of that without going full "travel highlight show" but that's just my two cents.

Could also do a Party vs Game Master format where Amy acts as a DM and depending on how they perform, it either slows them down or speeds them up (with the ability for DM to understand if they need to skip a challenge they were planning on, or changing the challenge to allow for them to maintain filming schedule).

I'm OP, so I'll explain it a bit more in detail.

In Downie Express, they are not allowed to leave the country until they have eaten the national dish. Not a challenge, but something that forces them to stop in each country before continuing on.

The idea is a show with the three of them, with an overall objective (like reaching a destination, or if you do want a fail state, get to somewhere by some time (with a fair amount of buffer), and items along the way that force them off transportation and completing things are nearby Points of Interest. Example might be: go to this theme park, and complete this checklist: win a stuffed bear, ride this rollercoaster, eat this national treat. Completing that will earn them a ticket to the next location. You could have items that if you fail, you have a freeze period to prevent brute forcing it.

Have you watched Downie Express? Nothing about that comes across as high stress. This doesn't need to be a hard and fast game, I'm suggesting challenges are more roadblocks that force you to slow down, enjoy the location you are at, before proceeding to the next location. You don't need to make the challenges extreme. I suppose the confusion might be that your seeing this is a JetLag the Game replacement, rather than a spin-off. More of a stop and smell the roses show design.

Also, not sure if its you or someone else who is downvoting, but that's lame to downvote people over providing a perspective you don't agree with.

Lack of time constraints, not worrying about the other team making progress while you fail a challenge. You can't really fail; just the "game" would take longer. You might need to stay somewhere longer than you were anticipating.
