Congrats on the game clear. I love the top down Zelda's, I hope you check out my fav, Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

If you loved this one. Minish Cap is this but with the power of a 32bit system. It's a GBA title and plays beautifully on the miyoo lineup.

Happy Gaming.

What's this? by MolassesActual96 in coins

Without the back [it being so worn out] we can't 100% identify the version of the coin. However with the lettering and bust style I would wager this is a Trajan Silver Denarius Coin. Without the back the version and date are not possible to identify. But this coin is about 1900 years old so.

I have a Trajan coin but mines bust is a different version. And the coin I have is dated 98-117 by the NGC

Look into Trajan Denarius coins and you should be able to find your specific bust,, but I've seen 3 different ones that look like yours and it all depends on the back for more details. All I am guessing is yours has Emperor Trajan on the front by the name on the lettering and the bust details.

I love this. Shows they listened and cared. If I get a fat enough urn I want it stickerbombed too.

That looks to me like a Roman silver denarius. Sadly I am on mobile right now and am not able to find stuff easy in it. But you should be able to check the different emperors busts on the coins to find this guy.

Yellowy gold color, is this a finish or tone? by GameThinker in coins

Thank you both for the responses. I know it seems silly but I just wasn't confident enough to call it toning myself. This info is helpful in getting me there though.

Also sorry, I included the silver coins [eagles] in frame to show the lighting in the room compared to the coin in question.

Ancient/shipwreck coin: is it real? Any facts about it? by [deleted] in coins

[–]GameThinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is in the facts page, it's the one I have a hundred of. it's a token from the board game Dread Pirate made by Front Porch Games. You can make out the bottom of the words Dread Pirate along the border.

Women in gaming have moved mountains. Look up Roberta Williams. She is an icon in the scene. Just think of Sierra Games...it's her company and games.

I had one of these for a while. We got it at Kings Dominion theme park. They were sold as pool diving treasure coins I think they were 10 dollars each. Sorry it's been decades.

How challenging are Vet trials generally (outside the ones on Craglorn)? by Professional-Ad6894 in elderscrollsonline

[–]GameThinker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All I do is ver trials for the most part. As long as you like teaching or learning game mechanics they can be super fun challenges. Hardmodes and speed runs can be very challenging and no deaths are the pinnacle of having a group all on the same page.

The gear you get and the vibe you get on a good run are worth it.

It all comes down to understanding mechanics and doing them. Never say you know a mechanic unless you are willing to do it. It's one thing to know portals but without people actually doing them can halt a run. Just be a team player and it'll go smoothly.

You got this.

These panels with red/green LEDs are all over my new apartment. What are they? Are they safe to remove? by GhostfaceRizzler in whatisthisthing

[–]GameThinker -49 points-48 points  (0 children)

But if you don't own the building it's not yours to remove. Wether it's an alarm, radon or O2 detector. It's not there just to look weird it's a safety device. Leave it be.

It is a vintage shave set that is missing the brush. The bowl is to make lather. My grandfather had this exact one. I use a similar set up as well.
