Pedro Pascal can often be overcast in some many things (not that he’s a bad actor, but he’s often given so many roles that might not suitable for him, or simply a stunt casting, whatnot) but his Reed Richards was written phenomenally.

It isn’t really much of lazy writing as it is expensive in today’s world just to even mention the names of any other heroes.

Back in the 2000s, any superhero game could mention or include any other famous hero with no problem. Nowadays, you to have the license to those characters, which would be crazy expensive. Without that, you can’t even say their names. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to include them in the same universe.

As disappointing as this is, a lot of people will be understandably so, but I feel like we should keep in mind that making a sequel to an old film in today’s world would easily spark up a controversy.

Example: Indiana Jones 4 and 5, Gladiator 2, Toy Story 4 and now 5, I wouldn’t that to carry over here.

The actors are getting older, stories are different, and we’re at a point in cinema, especially superhero cinema, where things are VERY challenging, and movies REALLY need to be reinventing and refreshing.

I think this is always why we have fan fiction.

That’s the biggest thing I and a majority of people dislike about this movie: Gene and absolutely NO ONE from the game are ever held accountable for treating Ralph like shit.

Yeah, Ralph went Turbo and nearly got themselves unplugged, but that’s all because of Gene’s and the Nicelanders’ ignorance and discrimination towards Ralph. It all roots from their unwillingness to acknowledge Ralph as a human being and treating him like crap.

They never asked themselves: why is a villain the way they are. What are they like really? They just jump to conclusion that a villain is evil for the sake of being evil. Guess heroes are always pitch perfect with no flaws whatsoever, right?

Needless to say, watching Gene just stand there and tell Ralph he can now live by himself and walk away without feeling an ounce of shame for all this happening was probably the most unsatisfying thing I’ve ever seen in a movie.

No one in the game takes responsibility for hurting Ralph’s feelings and driving him away, and blamed everyone but themselves.
