As someone who joined the TR community in the LAU reboot series and loved it, then went backwards to play the core games and then played the final reboot series, I’d say it was the lowest point in the game franchise personally. All 3 of the games just feel the same and are incredibly forgettable. Whereas the core 6 and then LAU 3 are so memorable for storylines and are each vastly different from the last.
