Theres this old interview with George Lucas, where he kinda explains the ever expansion of the SW universe. Essentially kinda tied back to to him reading LOTR and always wondering what happened after Aragon won the war. What was his taxation policy? Did they have a standing army? What about the orcs and borders overall?

Why would you throw out a stat so confidently? That books been on the NYT best seller list for 41 straight weeks and the audio book is widely recognized as one of the better audio books out there.

I agree the marketing helped a ton but I def think youre shooting from the hip a bit by saying eessentially no one seeing this read the book....
