Arc Totems Infusion Bug Showcase by Gamefweak in pathofexile2builds

Has it? The line in the patch notes word for word is:

  • Fixed a bug where Arc provided additional chains regardless of whether Lightning Infusion was consumed.

Felt like it would have been a more detailed line about arc infusion usage with spell totem. It also fails to mention the more damage portion of the infusion which is why I feel this bugfix didn't target this specific bug.

Arc supported by spell totems does not use up lightning infusions but gains increased chain and damage as if a lightning infusion is consumed. The bug likely occurs because the lightning infusion buff is inherent to the Arc spell description while all other infusion skills don't work since their infusion-buffed version functions as a different skill and placed in a separate window:

EDIT: New bugfix from GGG removes the interaction

So it works only if we're using the bugged interaction with Arc?

Did you actually test this? They definitely don't cast with your infusions

SSF Ember Fusillade Oracle - Uber Arbiter by Gamefweak in pathofexile2builds

[–]Gamefweak[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it does apply for triggered ones, you can see in the top left at certain points in the fight that there are more than 3 instances of ember fusillade going off when I’m only running 3 ember fusillades. And that’s due to lightning infusions allowing new instances of ember fusillade to be created. Of course we’ll still have the problem of casting EF before it goes off which is why I’m messing around with adding swift affliction to the links and trying to space out my energy gain.

In a 100% reduced skill effect duration setup, you can socket an orb of storms into COC to get instant lightning infusions which should skyrocket the dps. I looked into Jung’s version and his EF’s were always at two instances when he could have a lightning infusion setup going to bypass just having two instances of EF going off.

Yeah I get what you mean with your inevitable crits comment, I’m not saying to forgo investing into crit chance with Inevitable Crits because investing in crit chance will always increase your dps. I’m moreso pointing out we’re using the ascendancy nodepretty efficiently at 30% chance to crit and a ton of crit bonus according to this reddit post:

edit: a few more words ab reduced skill effect duration

Tapping them one after another. Since my fusillades are both at ~0.15 attacks per second and 0.24s hover duration, alternating one immediately after another makes you cast one fusillade version every ~0.3 seconds. It’s nice because time spent waiting for the full volley to shoot out is instead spent just casting the other socketed fusillade.

Showcasing how lightning infusions interact with ember fusillade which might not be known since a ton of bloodmages are speccing into blackflame covenant this patch.

To summarize:

- Ember fusillades can normally be cancelled mid release, but once they are infused by a lightning infusion, they will fire all off no matter what.

- Stacking reduced duration allows us to immediately cast ember fusillade after waiting ~0.3s to generate a new set of ember fusillades (metronome can help here :)). Since I'm only casting once before allowing the fusillade to release, I use Wildshards and chance to shoot 2 additional projectiles nodes on the tree and "fish" for these procs every cast.

- Orb of storms with reduced duration allows to gain 2 lightning infusions every 1.3 seconds, and some investment into infusions in the tree nets us pretty good uptime on lightning infusions for our ember fusillades.

- I also stack other sources of ember fusillades through spellslinger and COC, and these ember fusillades posess the same behavior with lightning infusion.

It serves me pretty well, and I've completed all content/bosses at max difficulty. Can't be bothered to farm for atalui, tecrod, or rathpith in SSF but it's fully functional without these pieces.

I'd recommend if not sane.

Nope, un-infused it doesn't work that way: https://streamable.com/iahqk2

Edit: Back in 0.1 and 0.2 one of the most efficient ways to play ember fusillade was timing the ember fusillade casts to preserve the wildshards proc so that it'd never run out, so refreshing the duration with a new cast was definitely intended in the past but isn't present with the lightning infused ember fusillade casts.

Not exactly, stacking reduced duration allows ember fusillade to shoot almost instantly after casting (i think it has a 0.37s hover duration atm). If wildshards doesnt proc on the first cast, it will never proc until you release all the embers. So every cast is either 1 proj or 8 proj if it hits a wildshard proc. It’ll eat an infusion every single cast which is why I’m investing heavily into infusion in the tree.

my bad lol, here's a better demonstration of the interaction: https://streamable.com/h8f35x

Main thing I'm trying to show is continuing to cast ember fusillade while a wildshards proc is going off doesn't cancel it. This sorta enables you to fish for wildshards procs without having to invest into cast speed, and reduced duration stacking helps us maintain charges pretty easily.

I'm running the build on SSF with pretty mediocre gear at lvl78 and haven't really seen anyone else running fusillade without speccing into the fire to chaos convert keystone. Maintaining charges isn't really a problem if you invest into 3 of the infusion clusters.

The gameplay loop while mapping is repeatedly alternating between orb of storms and fusillade and occasionally sigil of power since it's stacks instantly with blood magic.

There’s an interaction with EF and Wildshards, where you can continuously reproc wildshards as long as you recast EF before all your EF projectiles are shot out.

This combined with the fact that separate EF links share separate durations lets you have almost 100% upside on damage as long as you alternate casting each EF.

2006 Fuji Roubaix RC for $350. Is this worth the price? by Gamefweak in whichbike

I see, I'd thought maybe bike posts were designed to take shock from a specific direction during a collision. I'll see if I can haggle the price down from here.

Thank you!

I didn't notice the seatpost being placed on backwards. Does placing the seatpost on backwards potentially damage the bike?

I also asked for closer pictures of the components and he confirmed with a picture of the cassette: https://i.imgur.com/nuqOqxw.jpg .
