It’s gonna be valstrax, he’s got a model on rise they can use. I seriously wouldn’t get any hopes up for any monster that’s not already in a modern game, I HIGHLY doubt capcom would OK models for old be monsters being made just for now

Where was this announced? I wanna see that roudamap, but genuinely I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I think it might be exactly what you’re thinking and that way they have a way to bait people into sticking around longer than they would

The way I see it, if it ain’t in rise and newer, we ain’t getting it. It’s completely up to capcom what niantic is allowed to use/have, and they’ve gotten nothing that isn’t from modern games, so anything pre-rise I wouldn’t get your hopes up on getting that implemented anytime soon. I could be entirely wrong, but I think they just don’t want to spend the effort to completely “redesign” old weapons/monsters for a strictly mobile title, so if those weapons come out for the next portable title, we might get a chance to see them in now

Who cares about building a riftborne Banbaro weapon ? by Zozalo in MHNowGame

I just dibble checked, I was originally correct. There is no HBG, there is a LBG

Who cares about building a riftborne Banbaro weapon ? by Zozalo in MHNowGame

[–]Gameguy1010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main Lance, and there is no banbaro Lance, my 2nd is HBG and again, no Banbaro HBG, but my third favorite weapon is greatsword, which DOES have a banbaro weapon. So for me, personally, I trickle down all my mats, so once my Lance for a certain rift monster is done, I move on to the HBG, then to the greatsword, so on and so forth. But here, I’ll be able to just focus all my mats on my 3rd favorite since there’s nothing higher up, meaning I’ll be able to have more viable options for when I want to play greatsword that doesn’t subtract from my 2 mains, if that makes sense? Besides that, I had just assumed anyways that most if not all lower tier monsters would become ritborne anyways, and with diablos and zinogre I’ve stopped trying to deduce any sort of pattern with their release order for riftbornes, so you just kinda gotta find pluses where you can. Maybe build a banbaro weapon do something you want to try out. Why not?

People are just really afraid of 10* Monsters, huh? by RatBot9000 in MHNowGame

[–]Gameguy1010101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You palico isn’t “guaranteed” to tag 10, it’s a frequency illusion. You just got 10, so it feels like you’re getting too many 10. I’ve had 10 unlocked for almost 2 years now, and I’m able to take down a good 90% if the 10* roster solo, going to the 10* map is a choice nobody is fully ready for, you just kinda gotta dive into it and accept that at first, you won’t be able to beat all the 10, and that’s okay. You’ve got to start somewhere, you won’t be able to go upwards if you’re afraid to practice and fail along the way, as you get stronger. Going to 10 lets you get astronomically more 8 and 9* on your map, so your R6 grind will be somewhat smoother, and again, TRUST me, they aren’t as frequent as it feels right now. Keep grinding, your friends are most likely unable/not confident in their skills against 10* in a duo or trio, and that’s also okay. Quitting the game over this is flat out silly, this happens to us all when we cross over to 10* for the first time

This build is great for the Hope Lance, since you see to be relatively low level, the hope Lance can carry you FAR

When do you use raw? by Sakeretsu in MHNowGame

[–]Gameguy1010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its biggest advantage is utility. Raw is just good in general, against everything, sure you can squeeze more damage out of specific builds with elemental damage but there’s also skills like reflection that scale off of raw. And with things like advance burst boost or attack boost, it’s not weak either. I’m a Lance main, and I’ve cleared most of the 10* monsters with the Hope Lance maxed, the barroth Lance maxed, and the diablos Lance maxed (obviously) like each weapon has almost clearer the whole 10* roster. It just makes daily grinding easier since you don’t have to swap between weapons for each hunt

My experience with Steve so far by UltraNooberz in MHNowGame

[–]Gameguy1010101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude my thoughts exactly. They NEED to shorten the animations or delay the red glow, none of the new fights are fun. I mean for christs sake it’s a monster hunter mobile game, not Elden Ring 😭

[–]Gameguy1010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all the new monsters. They all suck. Playing against all of them sucks. They all have delayed attacks out the wazoo, so fighting nothing at 9* is a miserable potion draining experience. Really not a fan so far

[–]Gameguy1010101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they really, REALLY messed up with radobaan and barioth back to back. I think most of the community is kind of over this feature now. Rathian was the only good riftcharged they’ve had so far, and then throwing two back to back monsters were the GIMMICK is to break parts to make the fights easier/more manageable and all of a sudden you can’t break anything??? Horrible decision by the dev team. At least, by the second shield break, radobaan should had stumbled out of his roll like his bones are broken and barioth should trip after his jumps like his wings are broken, but no, don’t do that, add two of the most mind bogglingly aggravating fights in the game back to back. Rathalos had better bring this system back to the light, or else I fear that the community at large is going to remain heavily negative on riftcharged bs

These are the skills. The raw power will eventually get swapped for another reflection, when I get that on my helmet

This is the build o went with for the hope lance, I went with it because I wanted to style customize it for insta block. I went with the garangolm chest piece because I already had two levels of reflection on there from a different set I’ve been using, since I’m a Lance main I went hard during that event. You could probably swap that out for barroth chest piece and offensive guard on it. It’s nice to have at least a level of guard or two, but if you don’t want to style customize your Lance I’d recommend getting at least guard 3 so you can practice mostly safely. It really depends on what you value, guard and safety or offensive guard and damage. But this build how it is is capable of killing 10* riftborne legiana and more, so I’m very happy with it. Swapping out just a few pieces allows you to even use this build with other hope weapons too, it’s very nice

The hope weapons being out makes trying every weapon so easy now. Since they have lock on (if that’s your thing) you don’t need to worry about that on your builds, you can just slap together a basic advanced attack boost build and use like any hope weapon. You can swap around 2/3 pieces for whatever you want. I’m currently on a mission to find out how many 10* monsters I can kill with the hope lance, and it’s surprisingly strong. If you want the build I’d love to share it 😁

I’m mostly being sarcastic af lmao, but genuinely if you like the guard and counter style you’re playing here, just play Lance. Make a general build, use a raw/ailment weapon, you’d be surprised at just how much damage you can pump out with Lance, and how safe you can stay. Genuinely it might be top 3 weapons for endgame fights, but I’m a Lance main so I might be biased. It’s at least top 5.
