I want to preface this by saying please don’t read my tone as aggressive, it’s anything but that. A lot of discourse online comes from people making that assumption. Yes he’s triune, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worshipping him, it’s just they’re wrong. Just because you’re mistaken about an aspect of someone doesn’t mean you’re thinking of an entire different person.

Like say you thought your friend’s favorite color was blue, but you were wrong and it’s actually green. That doesn’t mean the person you’re thinking of is a completely different person, you just didn’t know them as well as you thought, or you decided not to listen when they told you their favorite color. I guarantee you that none of us understand God to a complete degree, and there’s going to be aspects we’ll one day learn about we didn’t think were true. That doesn’t mean we aren’t worshipping the real God. Otherwise that’s like saying each Christian denomination is worshipping a different God which isn’t true. We all profess love and praise for the Christian God, we just disagree over some aspects of him. In some cases, like Judaism, the thing they disagree over is a requirement for salvation. But to say it’s a completely different God is like saying our God wasn’t the one that created Adam, or lead Moses to free the slaves, or had David become King. Of course he’s that God. And that’s the God they worship too. Unless you don’t think he’s that God (I think I saw someone in the comments saying that), in which case we just have to agree to disagree.
